After a day of exploring nearby attractions like Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods, and countless hiking trails, unwind in the private hot tub beneath the stars or relax in the converted garage game room featuring a Smart TV, comfortable seating, ping pong, foosball, and darts.

This historic mountain home embraces the unique character of older mountain properties. Guests should expect stairs, narrow passageways, and a steep driveway consistent with the home’s mountainside setting. The property may not be ideal for guests with mobility concerns or anyone uncomfortable navigating mountain terrain.

Pets are welcome! The home features a dedicated mudroom with a doggy door leading to a fenced outdoor area, along with a dog house for added convenience.

Wildlife is common in the area, including bears, deer, raccoons, and other mountain animals. Guests should properly secure food and trash at all times and enjoy the natural surroundings responsibly.

Martindale Manor House Rules

• Check-in is any time after 4:00 PM
• Check-out is before 10:00 AM

🌙 Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are strictly observed between 9:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Please be respectful of neighboring homes and the peaceful mountain environment.

🚫 Parties & Events
Parties, events, excessive noise, or disruptive behavior are not permitted and may result in immediate cancellation without refund.

🚗 Parking
• Maximum of 2 vehicles allowed
• Please park only in approved parking areas
• Do not park in front of neighboring homes or roadside cutouts
• Front driveway is steep and may be unsafe during winter weather
• AWD/4WD is strongly recommended during winter months

🐾 Pets
Pets are welcome with prior approval. There is a Pet fee of $50 each.

Guests must:
• Supervise pets at all times
• Clean up pet waste and excessive pet hair
• Keep pets off furniture and bedding
• Not leave pets unattended outdoors

Additional cleaning or damage fees may apply if necessary.

🐻 Wildlife & Trash
This home is located in bear country.

• Do not leave food or trash outdoors or inside vehicles
• Use designated bear-proof trash bins and secure lids completely
• Do not feed or approach wildlife

Failure to follow wildlife and trash rules may result in additional fees.

🔥 Fire Restrictions
Due to extreme wildfire risk:
• No smoking anywhere on the property
• No fireworks, candles, charcoal grills, wood fires, or open flames

Evidence of prohibited fire activity may result in immediate cancellation, a $250 fine, and liability for damages or local ordinance violations.

🛁 Hot Tub Rules

• Use the hot tub at your own risk
• Children must be supervised at all times
• No glass containers in or around the hot tub area
• Please shower before entering the water to help maintain water quality
• Do not use oils, bath products, bubbles, or soaps in the hot tub
• Please keep the cover closed and secured when not in use
• Pre-measured chemicals are provided and should be added after each use as instructed
• Keep all hot tub chemicals out of reach of children and pets
• Do not sit, stand, or place heavy objects on the hot tub cover
• No smoking, vaping, or open flames near the hot tub
• Guests with medical conditions, pregnancy concerns, or sensitivities to heat should consult a physician before use
• Excessive debris, damage, or misuse of the hot tub may result in additional cleaning or repair fees

🔒 Security Devices
The property utilizes exterior security cameras, a Ring doorbell camera, and a Minut noise monitoring system. There are no indoor cameras or indoor recording devices.

This is a historic mountain property with unique character and mountain terrain. Please treat the home respectfully and report any issues promptly during your stay.

As a guest of this cabin, you'll find a hot tub, barbecue grills, and an arcade/game room. The front desk is open around the clock.
