Aside from the year around live stream running through Peaceful Pines Ridge, there are thousands of acres of Pike National Forest land that is directly accessible from the property. It would take several years of riding and exploring these magnificent public lands before one could truly know all of its beauty. This public land also offers the opportunity to hunt Elk, Mule Deer, Turkey, Bear, Mountain Lion and small game. Or, come fly fish for trout on the stream running through the property. In addition, just 15 minutes away you can enjoy more fishing on the Gold Medal waters of the Dream Stream located between Eleven Mile Reservoir and Spinney Mountain Reservoir. If you are not an angler, white water rafting on the Arkansas is famous for entertaining adventure enthusiasts. And Bonus! The ski areas of Breckenridge and Monarch are close enough for a very easy day trip deeper into the Rocky Mountains for some skiing or snowboarding, mountain biking, lunching and shopping. And for an urban fix, the property is only 45 min to Colorado Springs...with Woodland Park and Cripple Creek being only 20-25 min away. Truly, this mountain getaway is in the heart of Colorado's hiking, biking, skiing, boating, fishing, hunting, and ATV country - if you have toys, bring them and enjoy them on the property!
