My daughter and I found this perfect retreat for a weekend getaway, while visiting SC for a family wedding. Beautifully renovated and decorated! We had a busy itinerary, but fit in a walk to the nearby park. The trees on this street create a gorgeous canopy and backdrop for pics. We would love to come back with the boys sometime and experience another cottage of Vicki's and explore the adjacent lake and nearby areas a bit more. This is also a short drive to Columbia, but offers an escape from the busier city. We look forward to a future stay! Thank you, Vicki!

As Good as Advertised

First, Vicki was a great host!This is a beautiful cottage in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. Very clean and bright. The pictures accurately reflect the amenities. The bed was comfortable. The bedroom is a little tight but not a big deal. The bathroom is HUGE with a great shower for 2. The living room was cozy with a desk area that allowed my wife to get her work done all week without any problems. Wifi service was strong and reliable. The icing on the cake was the neighborhood. Great for walking. All the residents were friendly. And the property was close to the major shopping and dining areas of the city. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend to others. Perfect for singles and couples.

Wonderful Stay!

Absolutely stunning, clean, and well-appointed cottage! Furnishings and decor seem from the pages of a southern living magazine, and the bathroom is just luxurious. Thanks to our wonderful hostess, Vicki, for such a perfect stay! We will certainly be back!

Poor communication

After booking the home…there was no further communication sent. We had no clue if there was a code or what the code was to get in. When we arrived I knocked at the back door but no one was home in the main house. I tried calling the phone number associated with the account but no answer. My husband eventually went around the front of the house where the owner answered via ring door bell on the 3rd attempt where he was given the information to get in. The house is very beautiful and clean for the most part…but the basket in the bathroom had garbage from a previous renter and it made me feel like the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. This unit is attached to a main house…there is a door in the bedroom and the kitchenette that goes to the main house and we could hear activity from that part of the house. The bedding was very nice and comfortable and it’s a very beautiful well decorated unit.

Amazing and full of charm.

Gorgeous inside and out. Quiet and friendly neighborhood. Wonderful accommodations. Vicki is a wonderful host and quick to respond. We will definitely be staying there every time we are in Columbia area.

Quaint yet luxurious!

What a lovely place to stay! We had traveled from Florida to attend a funeral of a friends' mom and this cottage was the perfect place to stay to be within five minutes of our friends. I told family back home that I felt like I was straying in the pages of a Better Homes and Gardens magazine. The place was immaculate with every amenity to make your stay comfortable. The adorable kitchenette was well stocked, the bed so comfy, and the bathroom was AMAZING!! It was so tastefully decorated and in a lovely neighborhood. It was easy to find with the GPS. I would definitely stay here again and again. Vicki was a wonderful host, very good at communicating, and evidently, has an awesome green thumb according to the grounds. Great stay!! Thanks Vicki, it's just beautiful and you were so kind.
