The LaQuinta Inn on Horseshoe Drive in Columbia, SC runs a FIRST CLASS operation! Highly impressed! Every staff member was kind, hospitable, and went the extra mile without being asked to. Every part of the hotel was squeaky clean. The staff truly had a heart to serve…and did so with excellence!

It surprised me that the ac works perfectly and in silent we appreciate that when we want to have a good test. They clean our room every day that was more than what we expect because in many states they don’t do that like in California and Nevada. The breakfast was ok because we didn’t have much time to have it since we went there for my son SIT graduation. What was not accurate was the time of 6 minutes they say it take to be at fort Jackson. It actually took us 20 minutes. A lot of traffic during graduation and family day there but it was ok.

Hotel was very clean. The staff was wonderful. Had to have a FedEx delivered overnight for my Work, and they took care of it till I could come pick it up. We also brought our dogs with us and it was very pet friendly.

Bed spreads had stains on both beds and Hot water was just warm and did not get Hot. We was moved to another room and the bed spread on 1 of those beds had a stain on it. Staff was friendly.

Very clean, friendly staff, nice breakfast. Only complaint is the Fox News in the lobby. Maybe choose a network that is more moderate and not so polarizing, since you have guests coming from out of town and a wide variety of experiences and backgrounds. Fox News is very offensive to a lot of people.
