Get what you pay for but it works

Just needed a place to sleep between shifts. Beds/pillows comfortable. Definitely need some updating or good carpet cleaning. Shower had a half dollar size hole in the wall. Fridge froze a lot of my food which was a bit annoying.

I was traveling with my daughter, her 2 rambunctious young children and my son. We stayed in suite that stated it slept 6 and the 5 of us slept comfortably with no problems. It was clean and staff was friendly.

Great spot to rest our heads when visiting daughter at Mizzou. Clean rooms, comfy beds, free hot breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

The building seemed old and outdated. The flooring in the bathroom was old. The toilet ran all night and didn’t fully flush. The nearby highway was noisy and could be heard in the room. The beds only had a sheet and a thin blanket. There were no extra blankets in the room. It was hard to control the temperature in the room, even when adjusting the thermostat. The breakfast bar was ok but not what I’m used to. Because of a state sporting competition, there was limited hotel availability. The overall stay was ok but not somewhere we would choose again unless there was nothing else available.

The worst place I have ever stayed. Do not be fooled by the name Ramada by Wyndham. This is a dump. There is no elevator so if you are on the second floor you have to take the stairs. I have bad knees and had to do the stair thing, not a good thing for an older man. The room was dirty and the tub backed up after a few minutes of use. The front desk staff were rude and unprofessional. They expressed no concern for my issues at all. You could not pay me to stay here again. I would stay on a park bench before wasting my hard-earned money here. They didn't even offer a discount for all that was wrong. They didn't even respect my Veteran status and said they didn't care about my service to this country. Then again, the people who worked there were foreign and could barely speak English. Don't waste your time or money on this place. You will kick yourself if you stay here.

Very Dirty & Mold in Room, No TV Service

This hotel room we had was awful, very dirty & unclean room—smelled like marijuana, Gatorade drink bottles still left in the mini fridge from previous visitors, broken door handle, broken bathroom fan motor, tv had no working service—prostitution down the hallway. Did not stay the night, looked at the room when we got there and went and complained to the front desk and booked a different hotel for that night. Never will book this Ramada hotel again. Very poor experience for my family with a dog and 5-year old. Also the hotel never responded back to my message, for a refund—so hotels.com had to issue my refund to me since I booked it on there.

Quick overnight Stay due to change in schedule

I have stayed here before a long time ago. It was one of the only places to stay that night. I was very disappointed how rundown and unclean in places it was. Room was comfortable and overall clean. Didn't notice until the next morning that we had no bath towels or mat. Phone in the room would not call to front desk so I used my cell phone it rang until it hung up on me. Finally, I heard some kids outside my room and asked if they had an extra towels, luckily they had one and my roommate had to use hand towels.

You get what you pay for

Check-in: I got a room for a couple nights here while visiting my hometown. I paid for the room online at time of booking. Upon check-in, the guy at first refused to let me check in because my old address was on the license, and according to him, their "number one rule" is not to let anyone who lives within a 30 mile radius stay there. Exhausted, I dug in the truck for the temporary paper renewal of my license to prove that I live elsewhere now. If I hadn't found it, idk if I'd have gotten my money back-there was a language barrier, and he didn't seem to understand me. Cleanliness: The bed sheets had hairs all.over them! Body hair, head hair...from more than one person. It was disgusting. If it hadn't been 3 a.m. I would have asked for a refund bc at this point, I was totally put off by the experience. Then, I was really looking forward to a hot bath, but there was no drain plug in the tub. I used the ONLY washcloth to clog the drain enough that I could run a bath but soon realized that the bathtub wasn't clean either, had hair and other stuff in it. Breakfast: Biscuits and gravy, waffles, fruit, oatmeal, muffins, etc--all good. Bed comfort: Uncomfortable pillows, but bed comfort ok. Fitted sheet too big and wouldn't stay on either side at top and woke up on mattress a couple times. Overall: There are a lot of nice hotels in Columbia. I probably wouldn't choose this one again, but it was half the price ($53/night!) As is usually the case, you get what you pay for.
