We chose this property because they were pet friendly. Upon check in they informed us there was a pet fee of $25/night. This was not disclosed at check or during the booking process. The first room was clean but all the furniture and fixtures were disheveled. All the lights were unplugged. The toilet would not flush properly. We were gone all day, only to come back to a room that had NOT been cleaned. No new towels. We used all the ones in the room the night before because there were only 2. And the toilet was still not working. After inspection, the plumbing inside the tank were the wrong parts for the toilet, and the tank would not fill properly, therefore it would not flush. When we went to the front desk, the person on duty asked me if I wanted a plunger? Are you kidding me, NO, I want a toilet that works. We were told that the room they were moving us to was the last room, so if this one did not work for us, there was nothing they could do. We changed rooms, only to put in a room that was worse than the one before, but at least the toilet flushed. There was mold on the wall above the shower. The vent in the bathroom was filthy, and there was a car freshener vent clip attached to it. Like that was going to make that room smell better. The smoke detector was hanging off the wall not in working condition. The secondary door latch/security latch was busted, so we could not use it. The window locks were broken, the window could be easily opened from outside. Do not stay here!

Outside appearances good, but...

Our assigned room was in used condition, where a person left a very visible imprint on a bed, with tv remote on the bed. Got a room switch, and that one was absolutely filthy - walls, carpet, side of bed, artwork, mirrors. Bathroom wallpaper peeling off everywhere. Bathroom light not working. TV had no cable connection. Strong weed smell in elevator and halls. Otherwise, beds were comfortable, pool was nice.

Checked into the hotel, and our room was dirty with used toilet paper and skin care products throughout the room, requested a new room and was given another dirty room with bugs and light fixtures, light fixtures not working, and hair elastics with hair on the windowsill, locks of two bedroom doors were easily manipulated and people could open a locked door if they had a key. Was also directed by front desk staff that tap water was unsafe to drink and was required to purchase bottled water at the desk. No support provided by front desk staff when second room received was also dirty when informed him of our disappointment, he had no solutions to offer so we left and found a different hotel last.

The room conditions itself were awful. The room was so old and smelled. The shower was clogged and the bathroom wouldn't flush. I would not recommend, unless you're used to those types of conditions. But the rates are definitely not worth the stay.

Where is the housekeepers

The first room I stayed in had 3 lamps, neither lamp worked. The 2nd room I stayed in the remote control for the tv did not work, they got me a 2nd remote and that did not work either. My third room need better vacuuming, the floors where the refrigerator was they need to be vacuumed as well, corners and crevices. This place they are trying to upgrade, however if you paid between 50 and 70 dollars and they did a better job with housekeeping, it would be fine, any above 70 stay somehere else.
