Summary:

This home is bright, and cheerful. You will feel at home from the moment you walk in to this charming Columbus home. The open kitchen/dinning/living room provide the perfect space for sharing a meal, or spending time together. 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms provide a peaceful nights sleep. In the heart of the Old Oaks neighborhood, we are just a few minutes to Children's Hospital, 10 min to downtown or the Airport, and 15 min to OSU.



The Space:

Our house has had a beautiful renovation, and has been custom designed to be a perfect place to stay for your trip in Columbus. Downstairs has a beautiful kitchen with dinning space, and open to the living room. Just of the kitchen is the laundry and half bathroom. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms, and 2 full bathrooms. The spacious master suite has an en-suite bathroom, and loveseat. There is also a bedroom with a full, and a bedroom with a twin bed.



Guest Access:

Guests will have the entire home to themselves. Garage is off limits to all guests.



The Neighborhood:

Old Oaks is a charming neighborhood just south east of Downtown Columbus. Close to Children's Hospital. Along with Panera Bread, and The Crest, and Parsons Brewing, there are lots of great restaurants and shops coming in to this area. We are very close to the freeway, and less than 10 minutes from Downtown Columbus.



Getting Around:

We are just a few minutes from the I/70 W Freeway, and less than 10 minutes from downtown Columbus. Uber and Lyft are great in our location, and also there is a COTA bus stop nearby.



Other Things to Note:

Guests must provide a valid driver’s license or ID and sign our Rental Agreement after booking to receive arrival instructions. Parties & unauthorized gatherings are strictly prohibited, and hosts reserve the right to withhold arrival instructions of confirmed reservations from guests with negative or low reviews, are under 25 years old and/or live closer than 100 miles from the home at the host's discretion in an effort to ensure the safety and security of our community, (impacted guests will be notified shortly after booking, and a full refund will be provided if the guest cancels the reservation in a timely manner).



PET FEES: Guests are required to disclose how many pets will enter the home. A one-time fee will be required based on the length of stay for the following amounts:



$35 (Less than 5 nights)

$50 (5 - 30 nights)

$100 (30+ nights prorated daily, or $75 for each additional full month booked)

The Housepitality Team will be available at any time of your stay, and are close by if needed.
During your stay at this vacation home, you'll be within walking distance of Franklin Park. Enjoy features like laundry facilities. The vacation home includes amenities such as a kitchen and 2.5 bathrooms.

The house did what we needed it to, but it definitely wasn’t very clean and it was run down. Needed some TLC. Probably paid a little more than what it was worth. They had a fenced in back yard which was helpful for my animals, but there were a lot of broken pieces in the fence and trash all over both the front and back yard.

I’m not pleased with how our stay at this home went. First issue we encountered was how dirty the home was when we first walked in. It looked like someone had just left after staying there for a little. Only things that were cleaned and organized were the beds and the restrooms. The living room didn’t look how it was advertised. The arm rest of the stair way was falling apart(literally) the whole house smelled like cigarette. On top of that, the basement had a nasty, when pile of trash that look like it’s been left for weeks. This was something out of control of ownership but the neighbors next door were playing music loudly until 3am. So we had little to no sleep as we had to wake up at and be ready by 7 for our business meeting. I had notified and asked housepitality(the owner of the home) to help us with this situation but all they did was give us 50 back and to have someone sent over to “help.” None of it which helped our situation out whatsoever. We decided to stay at a hotel nearby which was helpful but unfortunate because we had to spend more money. I asked housepitality if they could refund us for the second night given our circumstance and the only thing they did was offered us 50 and a discount for our next stay at another one of there homes. I laughed and declined a near useless offer. I would carefully consider using housepitality as they don’t offer a solution to the specific problem. They bandaid the situation with there “help.”

The house was decently clean. Upset I left my smart watch in the room I stayed in and the "Cleaning crew" couldn't find it 🙄. Besides leaving my watch and it vanishing I enjoyed my time at the home. Area and parking was hectic though . But we remained safe.

Definitely a breath of fresh air!

Beautiful place, not in the best area BUT the backyard was what we were looking for and although my friend cancelled, My boyfriend and I had a lovely time. Was able to make a cake and eat some seafood. Bed was a little loud but none the less comfortable. House was beautiful just like the pictures. Will definitely stay again my next time in Columbus!
