The place is under construction. The room price did not reflect this. There was only coffee. You had to walk next door for breakfast and it’s very cold out. The front desk person was very kind and friendly though.

Hotel was under construction. The pool was closed, no breakfast served, mattresses and construction material laid out everywhere. Hotel staff was rude. Room was dirty and the shampoo/conditioner bottles had already been opened and used. Floor was sticky. There was sticky spots on the nightstands. Hated it.

I wish I could give this stay a zero star review. Do not trust the pictures you see online. The marketing of this hotel leads customers to believe it is a very nice, clean, and comfortable stay. Our stay was anything but that. The front desk clerk was very kind when checking us in at midnight. He let us know that breakfast was unavailable and we would have to walk to the hotel next door for breakfast in the morning. Yes this was inconvenient but not a big deal (even though there was 6-8 inches of snow on the ground). Once we walked into the room, our stay took a turn for the worst. The room was absolutely disgusting. Lampshades and walls were coated in a dark substance (I'm scared to know what that substance was), there were holes in the walls and wallpaper, hair on the ground and in the tub. We were uncomfortable to walk on the carpet, let alone sleep in the bed. To top it all off, due to the construction, there were loud slamming doors all night. DO NOT STAY HERE! The absolute worst $100 spent.

There were 2 major issues. 1) The night staff member checking us in, allowed us to check in our dogs. We made full disclosure. He even complemented us on the dog and their behavior. Other Comfort Inn’s on our trip allowed us to have the dogs with no issues. The next morning, the manager informed my daughter not me who was the party of record that there was a no pet policy and insisted we leave with evidence of a refund for the remaining 3 days which has not been cleared in my bank. The manager took no responsibility for his night staff member and accused me of lying to him about the pets. The issue is not the no pet policy. The issue is, its inconsistent application and the lack of customer service and rude demeanor. 2) The second issue is the overwhelming health hazard of the renovation at the hotel during our brief one night stay. Since one of my family’s reservation was made via Expedia and could not be cancelled, we chose to stay despite the health hazards (I am asthmatic and have other autoimmune issues.) I recommend that both Expedia and the hotel disclose renovations to customers when making a reservation. Expedia should also add 2 features a) indicate if a hotel is pet friendly and b) if a renovation is going on. Many people with health conditions could be affected. These changes are simple programming conveniences. I will inform both Choice Hotels and Expedia Corporate.

Hotel is under renovation ... when I booked they never mentioned this. They were working on the 2nd floor and they put us in a room on the 2nd floor. Awful heard doors opening/closing - banging even after 9pm. The toilet in the bathroom wasn't even secure to the floor - anytime you sat on it it moved. Front desk didn't even try to make things right - just shrugged their shoulders - worst place I have ever stayed in. NEVER NEVER NEVER again

I made the mistake of booking a non-refundable room....this hotel is under construction. As soon as we entered our room we were subjected to very loud hammering directly above us. We were told that there were no other rooms available that weren't experiencing the same thing, except maybe a double.....we didn't want that, and it would last another 2 hours! The room smelled absolutely disgusting. The odor of urine, pet or otherwise, was so strong that the perfume deoderizers just made it worse. It's a good thing this place is getting remodeled. The hallways are filthy and disgusting. We booked a place with a pool, and it was closed due to remodeling! All in all, just a lousy stay......but haven't experienced breakfast yet, that might be scary!

Staff- upon arrival no one was ask the front desk, just a sign that gave a number to call. Called the number and no one answered. Had to wait a few minutes for a staff to appear. Staff member at front desk was not friendly.
