EXCEPTIONAL PANORAMIC sea view house, garden and terrace

Facing the city center of Concarneau and in front of the customs trail (gr34), imagine the bay of Concarneau and its mythical walled city. This is the idyllic setting that will welcome you for your getaway.
This house, originally a lighthouse keeper's house, was completely renovated at the start of 2015 under the direction of an interior designer, offering you high-end services.

The house has a large living room with an open kitchen and upstairs a bathroom and 3 bedrooms; these rooms all having sea views.

The garden of around 400 m2 offers a sea view terrace (exhibition: South West)
Its location will allow you, in 10 'on foot, to reach the walled city (shops, restaurant), by taking the ferry.
Convenience store as well as
Beaches and swimming pool are a 5-minute walk away.



On the ground floor, the equipped kitchen is open to the living room and the dining room allowing, from a huge panoramic bay open to the South West to enjoy the mesmerizing spectacle offered by the activity of pleasure and fishing boats entering and leaving the port. This very neat interior room also has the following facilities: TV, satellite French English German channels, hifi, free WIFI.

Upstairs, two bedrooms with full sea view, facing West, each with a 160X190 bed; special care was given to the choice of bedding. 1 bedroom with bunk beds of 90X190 each, a bathroom with walk-in shower, vanity unit, WC
Outside, two terraces are available: a terrace with a full sea view exposed to the South West with garden furniture and sunbathing; another terrace to the east, with transparent sea view with dining area in a protected location.

Fantastic harbor front home

My family of 5 (3 kids, 2 adults) thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Concarneau at this property. The location is ideal. We enjoyed walking to the quick ferry to the walled part of the city. It was nice to be so close but to return to the quiet neighborhood that the home is in. The back of the living room opens up (triple doors) to the view of the harbor. Watching the boats come and go was very relaxing. The house had everything we needed (appliances and amenities) and is a short walk from a grocery store and good bakery. Odile, the property host, was easy to communicate with before and during our booking. She warmly welcomed us and gave us great suggestions for beaches, restaurants and things to do. Concarneau is a great base for exploring the western part of Brittany and this specific home location was excellent.

House with absolutely stunning views

The best part of this small compact house was its absolutely stunning views over the sea and the harbour of Concarneau. The garden was also very nice with wonderful sea view as well. The house is located along a very nice pedestrian sea walk and very close to the centre of Concarneau. The house is decorated with style. It was an absolute pleasure to stay in Ty Men Krenn!

lovely stay but the bedrooms need attention for a luxury stay

The view is amazing and very beautiful and the house is nicely furnished in a contemporary style. A few improvements would make it even better such as blackout curtains across the whole of each bedroom window, wardrobe space as currently none in either double bedroom and a few provisions on arrival such as milk and bread. The upper floor boards creak a lot and should be fixed and both double bedrooms seemed damp. I have drawn some of these points to the attention of the owner.

Wir haben zu zweit einen sehr entspannten Urlaub in einem wirklich schönen Haus mit grandioser Aussicht verbracht. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr ruhig, es ist sehr gepflegt, sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Aussicht aus fast allen Zimmern traumhaft. AprĂšs notre sĂ©jour, nous souhaitons partager notre expĂ©rience : La vue depuis la maison est absolument exceptionnelle, offrant un panorama sur la baie de Concarneau, l'entrĂ©e du port avec sa balise. Nous avons apprĂ©ciĂ© l'animation visuelle tout au long de la journĂ©e, avec l'arrivĂ©e des bateaux de pĂȘche et des voiliers de course. Les matins Ă©taient particuliĂšrement paisibles lors du petit-dĂ©jeuner, lorsque les petits bateaux venaient relever les casiers juste devant nos baies vitrĂ©es, crĂ©ant une scĂšne presque artistique, avec des lumiĂšres magiques quel que soit le temps. La maison Ă©tait d'une propretĂ© irrĂ©prochable, avec une dĂ©coration raffinĂ©e qui nous a fait sentir comme chez des amis. SituĂ©e dans une impasse tranquille dominant le sentier cĂŽtier, elle permettait un accĂšs facile Ă  la ville via le bac Ă  seulement 10 minutes de marche, et nous pouvions ensuite passer par la ville close pour faire nos courses ou dĂźner au restaurant. Ici, la voiture n'Ă©tait pas nĂ©cessaire, ce qui Ă©tait trĂšs apprĂ©ciable. Cet endroit est un pied-Ă -terre exceptionnellement bien placĂ© pour rayonner dans tout le FinistĂšre. Nous envisageons certainement de revenir un jour. Un grand merci aux propriĂ©taires pour leur accueil chaleureux et leur hospitalitĂ©.

Cette maison est tout simplement fabuleuse, avec une vue Ă©poustouflante sur l'ocĂ©an, Concarneau, sa Ville close, le mouvement des bateaux de pĂȘche et de plaisance, les soleils couchants et l'heure bleue des petits matins. Elle offre jusqu'au coeur de l'hiver un confort parfait avec un intĂ©rieur Ă  la fois fonctionnel et raffinĂ©, de belles toiles et de beaux objets. Unser Aufenthalt in dem Haus war einfach traumhaft! Es ist ein wahres Juwel, gerĂ€umig, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man fĂŒr einen komfortablen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die offene Gestaltung des Wohnbereichs schafft eine einladende AtmosphĂ€re. Die Schlafzimmer sind komfortabel und bieten ausreichend Platz fĂŒr Erholung und PrivatsphĂ€re. Die Badezimmer sind modern und makellos sauber, die KĂŒche sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Highlight des Hauses ist zweifellos der Blick auf das Meer. Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt. Die NĂ€he zur Stadt und zu lokalen GeschĂ€ften und Restaurants machte unseren Aufenthalt Ă€ußerst angenehm. Gleichzeitig bot die ruhige Umgebung die gewĂŒnschte PrivatsphĂ€re und Ruhe. Das Gastgeberin war stets ansprechbar und hilfsbereit, sowohl vor als auch wĂ€hrend unseres Aufenthalts. Sie gab uns wertvolle Tipps fĂŒr AusflĂŒge, SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten und Restaurants in der Umgebung. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt eine unvergessliche Erfahrung. Ancienne maison de gardien de phare entiĂšrement rĂ©novĂ©e dans un style contemporain avec charme et raffinement.Equipements et prestations de grande qualitĂ©. PropretĂ© irrĂ©prochable. Et quelle vue ! A couper le souffle. On est happĂ© par le "tableau vivant" qui s'offre Ă  nous depuis le salon. Ballet incessant des bateaux de pĂȘche et autres voiliers, lumiĂšre changeante au fil de la journĂ©e. Le temps est suspendu et aspire au calme et Ă  la sĂ©rĂ©nitĂ©.Quelque soit la mĂ©tĂ©o le spectacle est magique. La maison est idĂ©alement situĂ©e au calme dans une impasse, non loin des commerces et au pied des sentiers de randonnĂ©es. Accueil trĂšs chaleureux de la propriĂ©taire qui a Ă  coeur de partager ses bonnes adresses et de faire en sorte que ses hĂŽtes passent un excellent sĂ©jour. Parfait : rare concordance entre l'annonce et la réalité - à réserver sans hésiter !

Des premiers contacts pour la réservation, aux derniers lors du départ, Odile et Serge ont été des hÎtes particuliÚrement agréables. Le soin qu'ils apportent à leur maison, notamment quant à la propreté fait qu'on s'y sent bien de suite. La maison est saine, coquette, pratique, sans parler de la baie vitrée qui offre un spectacle permanente quelque soit le temps. Le quartier est résidentiel, calme, avec toutes les commodités trÚs proches. Les balades sur le sentier cÎtier comme dans la ville close sont trÚs dépaysantes et commencent à deux pas de la maison. Il est possible de ne jamais prendre la voiture de la semaine. Tout est là pour des vacances ressourçantes, sans aucune mauvaise surprise. On attend avec plaisir de pouvoir y revenir. Grand merci à Odile et Serge pour leur gentillesse et leur professionnalisme.

Wonderful holiday home, fantastic view!

We spent our summer holiday in this wonderful semi detached holiday home. The view from the house is truly magnificent. The house is very well kept. It is very easy to go to Concarneau town by boat so you do not need to take your car every time. The house is a good base to do all kinds of nice things like sailing, walking, going to the beach or maybe visiting another town or a castle.
