The staff was very friendly but the property could use some upgrades. Booked this due to downtown St. John’s being booked solid. Rooms need upgrading. Convenient for an overnight stay but not a longer trip.

What a disappointment. As friendly as the person was at the front desk , it did not make up for the rest. We had the “ocean view” suite. First of all, shame on Expedia for allowing them to claim its ocean view. The only window was in the bathroom and you would need to be right up against the window to see a slight glimpse of the water. The room itself had NO window, it was like a bunker. The bed was lumpy and too soft. The sheets were among the cheapest quality I’ve ever seen. The pillow was extremely lumpy and unusable. The room.. oh wait they called it a suite, had no TV service. The listing did not disclose it was on the second floor and with no elevator. Last disappointment was the rate we paid … over $385 CN for one night. Even if this rate was half, I do not recommend staying here.

Decent place to stay near St, John’s

Nice area to stay in. Close to restaurants, stores etc. Lots of choices. Lots of fluffy Towels & hot water. TV had lots of channels, Netflix, etc. Room seemed clean but there was a bit of a smell. Had to open window to try to air it out.
