Jacaranda

This traditional Roche single-storey house was beautifully refurbished in the winter of 2021/22. The result is an ideal beach house for one or two families, with perfectly integrated indoor and outdoor spaces, which include tastefully decorated interiors and a carefully designed garden.



Jacaranda sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac about 700m away from the Roche beach. The L-shaped construction has the ideal southwest orientation and neatly protects the large terrace area and the pool and its surrounds. The big pool gets the sun all day, and the partially covered terrace provides both full shade and filtered shade at midday through its bamboo roof while also receiving the full warmth of the lower evening sun. At the far end of the pool, there is also a large covered pergola for eating, complete with a tailor made BBQ and outdoor kitchen. All this makes for the perfect outdoor living experience.



Inside the house, one part of the L-shape is made up of the sitting/dining room area and the separate kitchen, and the four bedrooms and three bathrooms occupy the other wing. The main suite has views over and direct access to the pool area. There is a second bedroom/bathroom suite, and Bedrooms 3 and 4 share the third bathroom. Bedroom 4 has two convertible bunk beds, so you can sleep 2, 3, or 4 comfortably. Each bedroom has been decorated differently, and all have been beautifully finished with every detail cared for.



Casa Jacaranda is clearly going to be a popular house throughout the year, its outdoors offering comfortable areas for all tastes and temperatures, and indoors the sitting room is spacious yet cosy, complete with a good-size open fire.
