Just a few miles away, you will find the Terris Novalis, two striking pieces of sculpture relating to the old steel works of the town. Walking enthusiasts will enjoy the many walks around the town of Consett, whilst cyclists can take the coast-to-coast cycle route, taking in many lovely views. While Durham is 20 minutes away and Newcastle city centre just a 30-minute drive, this is the perfect location for those looking to experience the northern culture. Surrounded by acres of grounds and fields, there is also a full-size tennis court, which visitors are welcome to enjoy.
