Location, reception and housekeeping staff, cleanliness, safety and security are all excellent. I booked a cheap room and it was basic but had everything I needed for a one-night stay and was scrupulously clean. The bed was comfy, the bedding high quality, great reverse cycle air conditioning and as a lone female traveller I felt very safe and secure. Thankyou Opal Inn!

The website stated you could check in at 2pm. We arrived at 2 and were greeted at the door by staff and was told they were closed until 3. I was also told to go along to the Bar nearby and they would help me. I was told by the bar staff ‘I don’t know why they do this as we have no idea what goes on’. NOT HAPPY. If I had not already paid, I would have gone elsewhere. How do you expect to get decent ratings when this is how you treat customers. Also, there was no cutlery or plates. I definitely would NOT recommend your motel.

This was a great place to stay for the night. Awesome menu and great food 😋. The bedroom was a bit dated but still very clean, cool and comfortable. Great front office girl, awesome bar staff and kitchen chef. Very secure and the cheapest price in town if you book online. Also you get a discount on your meal if you eat there and also you get a free drink. Thumbs 👍 up from me!
