Would have been a 5 star; however, I had to sign a waver stating no smoking or vaping in the room. Which was fine because I have never smoked. I had a room (116) with two (2) queen beds. One of the comforters had a cigarette burn all the way through it, which I reported to the front deck and again at check out.

Property in good central position. Went to Longhorn steak house restaurant, but walked. It wasn't easy crossing the road. Had a bath which I liked. My friends didn't have a plug in their bathroom, but otherwise stay was enjoyable.

Very Accommodating

The hotel offered a very pleasant stay at a convenient location. The hotel was within walking distance of all popular landmarks. When I told the staff member who checked me in that I was traveling with my elderly mother he offered a room on the 1st floor without me even asking. That was greatly appreciated.

Bathing items

Room and bedding was clean. Towels were very worn down and paper thin. The bath floor mat had a large hole wearing through the middle of it. There were no hand towels and the wash clothes had stains on them of some sort. The sink water pressure was very minimal.

What we liked about this hotel was that it's budget friendly, continental breakfast, local was great... right off the highway, the dining options were good... check in & out was easy. However, you get what you pay for... the room for the most part was clean and the design was moderate, but the comforters, wash clothes and towels need updating. We used our personal linen, wash clothes and towels along with a little freshen up of the room and we were good to go. Keep in mind all Super 8 are not created equal, but this was one of the better ones. Great for a one or two night stay.
