The Staff was very friendly and caring and the atmosphere was so homely our room was very clean and quite area , meals was lovely i would recommend this motel to anyone we will be staying here again on our next holiday.

I found the blanket on the bed to be very thin and the extra blanket in the cupboard was just a thin. I froze all night have never been so cold. I put the heater on but it smelt like it was burning so turned it off .

It’s great for an overnight stay…..just be careful as there are two sites. One is the actual address and the other is about 1km E near the IGA and can be tricky to find in the dark….the roadhouse across from that site is great for a feed

Golden Country Comfort

Great stay. Hotel is located on the main highway, however you would not know it. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The restaurant serves a good range of meals (like the old style pub grub/counter meals), these are reasonably priced. I would definitely stay here again.

Coolgardie Goldrush Motel

There was a power outage during our stay in the evening. While clesrly beyond the control of the motel, the staff did nothing to keep guests informed, provide assistance eg torches, offer hot drinks to stave off the cold In addition the heating in the rooms was inadequate when the power was restored and insufficient hot water for even one person to have a luke warm shower the next day. The hot water system was gas and would not have been affected by the power outage. When informed of these issues the staff had no interest in resolving them.
