In many ways this is a quite mythical place to stay. It’s in one of the old buildings in Corfu Old Town and is high up (bear in mind you’ll need to climb up about 70 steps to get to it). You get a wonderful view over the rooftops and watching the swallows swooping in the morning and evening is a beautiful and magical experience. The apartment is really near a supermarket and generally in a fantastic central location. The host was extremely helpful and friendly and quick to respond via WhatsApp. We arrived late and the host kindly stayed with us on the app until we had found the apartment. However, some of the interior decor needs attention. The apartment has been renovated with a new wooden floor, new double bed and new ceiling lighting. But other areas need an overhaul in my opinion. For example, the main cupboard doors in the bedroom look battered and could do with being changed or at least painted. The kitchen has a great fridge freezer but the hob just doesn’t cut it. It needs to be replaced and properly fitted. We never used it. The crockery needs to be upgraded. A fire alarm and fire extinguisher need to be installed.

Full of character

A lovely apartment to base yourself for a few days. Full of character, with views across the town and steps away from the Old Town. Decent kitchen, good wifi, supermarket round the corner; everything you need for a stay. A lot of steps up from the street, so not one for the mobility-impaired. Giannis was really helpful and met me there with the keys.

Torenwoning met uitzicht

Geweldige plek met ramen en uitzicht in alle windrichtingen. Hoge torenwoning waar de gierzwaluwen langs en in scheren! Zeer goede begeleiding en service bij inchecken, dat kon ook al vroeg en bagageopslag bij (laat) vertrek.
