we had marvelous time alex the manager was a loving and caring person who took care of all our needs and gone above and beyond a regular manager he was meticilous and curteous throughout our 10 nights stay we left happy and we will definitely return next season to the hotel

Nice and clean , friendly host! Pool nice and clean as well as the room, spacious and affordable Lots within walking distance, only negative is nothing to do with the hotel but taxis in the area are very very expensive if you require them, around 35-50 euro for a 10 minute car journey

Wonderful place to stay in beautiful Corfu! My room was spacious and comfortable and all the amenities were great. Everything from the beach to restaurants to the grocery store is within easy walking distance. And Alex who runs the hotel is an amazing person, so kind and helpful, and always available for anything you need. I highly recommend the Pierhouse Hotel in Gouvia and definitely plan on returning again. Thank you Pierhouse and Alex - you helped make my trip to Corfu one I will never forget!

The hotel is good, we had a comfortable night, the host 10 starts over 10, very helpful, i got surprised about the room because to me was really good because honestly was very cheap, however i will recommend to update the pictures because are not accurate, i think that's the main complaint must of the guest have,.Advise get mosquito repellent because you're gonna need it.

Alexander was very nice with us all the time. There were electric power outages due to bad weather but implied lack of current water in the room. There were issues with the cleaning crew missing for few days. The room was fine. The hotel needs a sign at the front, when we got there weren’t sure if that was the right place

Amazing place to stay! I was super tired and grumpy when I arrived but was made to feel so welcome despite being a grump! I had been upgraded unexpectedly to a wonderful two bedroom apartment. It was super clean and had everything I needed. I had fresh towels daily which was a big plus. - the little balcony was an added bonus too. The pool was extremely clean. It wasn’t overcrowded at all, so sunbeds were available. It’s easy to locate as I received a WhatsApp message beforehand with clear instructions and pictures. The bus stop is right outside so you can get on the number 7 into town in less than 30 mins. Or you can get the bus the other way and head to the beach. Supermarkets within walking distance, there are some eateries but not on the main road, they’re down a side road. (But just head to town for €2.50. (Card and cash accepted) Thank you so much! :)

The property was a basic accommodation with mostly everything we needed. They upgraded us to air con even though it wasn't advertised. Alex the host was very helpful and informative and made us feel very welcomed at the hotel. We felt like we could rely on him for all the help we needed and gave us lots of good recommendations. This is a great place if you want to explore the island on a budget as the area is convenient to move around and the hotel is affordable. Thanks for all your help and hospitality Alex.

Alex, the Host, was authenticly professional, he called prior to my arrival to ensure I arrive to the hotel conveniently. Very welcoming, you would feel at ease l, specially after long day of travels. The room was spacious, very well decorated and everything worked fine. Def will be back!

A sensible option with supportive hosts

I had a very good stay here overall. The host was very welcoming and helpful, always available to give advice and recommendations, which made exploring the island much easier. The hotel itself was clean and well looked after, with fresh towels provided daily. It’s also convenient that clear directions were sent by WhatsApp before arrival, which made checking in simple. The location worked well for getting around — the bus stop is right outside, with easy (and frequent) connections into town in about 20 minutes or to the beach in the other direction. Supermarkets are within walking distance, though dining options nearby are limited (but there is a good bakery nearby), so heading into town is usually the better choice (and inexpensive by bus). One thing to note is that the hotel is located near a trafficked road, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs or request a quieter room if possible. Overall, this is a sensible option if you want to explore the island on a budget while still enjoying a friendly atmosphere, clean facilities, and a very supportive host. A solid 8/10.

Hotel liegt in der Nähe von großer Straße und in der Nacht ist ziemlich laut. Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit. Hotel passt mehr für jugendliche, die nur für paar Tage dort sind, für längere Unterkunft steht wenig zu Verfügungen. Am Sonntag in der Nähe gabs keine Cafés, die früh geöffnet sind.

Nous avons été accueillis et conseillés par Alex de l’arrivée jusqu’au départ de notre séjour. C’est quelqu’un de très serviable et avenant. L’hôtel est convenable pour un court séjour. Il y a une grande piscine propre. Les chambres sont climatisées. Lorsque nous avions besoin de quoique ce soit, Alex nous a apporté son aide. Seul bémol : douche un peu petite si vous faites plus d’1m80. Je recommande l’hôtel. Il est bien équipé et bien situé.

My husband and I have enjoyed our stay in the Pierhouse. We had a beautiful room and the views were amazing. In the morning sitting on our balcony with a cup of coffee you couldn't start the day any better! Friendly, helpfull, wonderfull people running the hotel as well. It was our first time in Corfu, our first stay at the Pierhouse and we are already planning our second stay there next year. There is always something what you come across that you are disappointed with but that can happen anywhere. We have had the best vacation ever Thankyou Pierhouse
