Very nice villa. A few small things we noticed upon arrival: smell of smoke upon entry, an AWEFUL stench from the downstairs bathroom, 1 of the toilet seats was broken, 1 dining chair had a loose leg, 1 of the drawer handles in upstairs bedroom fell off and light fixture in living area only had 1 light bulb working. All mattresses were ROCK hard (very uncomfortable). Some suggestions: provide instructions for the washer/dryer in English, a toaster would be nice and a copy of the bus schedules. Close to the green bus stop made it easy to get around. However, being on the Main Street made it very noisy (and a neighbor’s dog barked every night). One small market, 2 great bakeries and lots of restaurant options. Stunning views!!!

What an amazing holiday our family had. The property was fantastic. The reason for the 4 star overall rating was only because we found the beds really hard. But the property was still worth it. Thank you so much Villa Alora.

A Perfect Family Retreat in Barbati, Corfu

Our stay at this brand-new villa in Barbati, Corfu, was nothing short of exceptional. The villa was a perfect fit for our family, offering three spacious bedrooms, each with its own balcony overlooking the stunning Ionian Sea. The highlight was undoubtedly the fabulous swimming pool, where we spent countless hours relaxing and enjoying the serene surroundings. The location was ideal—just a short walk to Barbati Beach, where we discovered hidden coves and swam in the crystal-clear turquoise waters. We were also spoiled for choice with fantastic restaurants nearby, with a special mention to Lord Byron, where the staff took excellent care of us. The villa was impeccably maintained, with the staff providing regular cleaning and fresh towels and linens halfway through our stay. Host Richard and the local agents were incredibly responsive, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was smooth and enjoyable. We honestly cannot fault anything about our experience. This was a memorable vacation, and we all agreed that we love Corfu and this beautiful villa. We would return in a heartbeat!
