Villa kiki

We had a wonderful happy hot week. Slightly further to the beach than we anticipated but the sea at one end and effective aircon at the other. Useful shop halfway too. Responsive owner - replaced a light bulb almost immediately. Lovely spots to sit outside the house. Noise of the horses across the road, which was lovely and otherwise peaceful

Away from it all

We had a lovely week in this beautiful villa away from the bustle of London. The Villa was wonderfully kept and the owners could not have been more helpful. One addition that may be useful for future visitors is a simple map showing where the beach, tavernas & shop are but it’s pretty straightforward to find! Glorious walking, beautiful beaches and good food...sorry. Thanks!

Lovely, peaceful house.

We enjoyed everything about Villa Kiki and had an extremely relaxing holiday. Surrounded by olive groves, with a choice of places to eat, both inside and out, and a beautiful balcony, it was just wonderful. Thank you!

A lovely traditional Greek style home that's really well equipped and in a peaceful location

This house was ideal for us. Spacious, airy, beautifully clean, and set in pretty grounds in a peaceful spot. The owners are lovely, friendly and caring. The nearby beach is great with soft sand and sea that is shallow for a long way out. The Hellas taverna on the beach was great for food. This is a pretty, peaceful area with lovely views and many pretty flowers and butterflies. Nearby Kassiopi provides more choice for meals and shops. Stay here if you want to relax and pull the plug out. It's lovely

Alles in allem ein schönes Ferienhaus

Schönes, freistehendes und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus, in dem wir zwei gute Wochen verlebt haben. Die Küche ist soweit mit allem, was man für 2 Wochen Selbstversorgung braucht, ausgestattet. Nach vorne und nach hinten raus hat man Terrassen mit Sitzmöglichkeiten mit Ausblick auf Olivenbäume. Die Straße ist relativ nah, der Verkehrslärm hält sich aber in Grenzen. Nach 1 Woche wurde das Haus gereinigt und Handtücher/Bettwäsche gewechselt. Leider war eine der Sonnenliegen defekt, der Fernseher funktionierte nicht und ein Wasserschlauch im Bad ist geplatzt. Das wurde zwar jedes Mal kurzfristig behoben, aber eigentlich wollen wir uns im Urlaub um so etwas nicht kümmern. Die Vermieterin war da sehr engagiert, die Kommunikation mit ihr manchmal etwas schwierig, da sie kein Englisch sprach. Die Bilder im Inserat geben auch nicht ganz den aktuellen Zustand wieder, auf den Aufnahmen erscheint alles insgesamt neuer, als es tatsächlich war. Auf der vorderen Terrasse steht kein Sonnenschirm mehr, sondern eine Pergola, die einen guten Sichtschutz zur Straße bietet. Man geht zu Fuß 10 Minuten bis zu einem super schönen Sandstrand, Tavernen sind auch vor Ort. Als Ausgangpunkt für Wanderungen ist das Ferienhaus ideal angebunden. In der gegenüberliegenden Nachbarschaft leben Hunden, die in der Zeit in der wir da waren leider jede Nacht sehr viel gebellt haben, so dass an Schlaf nur mit Ohrstöpseln zu denken war. Alles in allem ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus, für uns mit ein paar Abstrichen.

Perfekter Service in idyllischer Umgebung / Perfect service in an idyllic spot

Das Haus liegt nahe der Küstenstrasse zwischen Apraos und Acharavi (= Teil von Karniaris), aber man hört KEINEN Verkehr. Gegenüber liegt eine Pferde Ranch, was auch Tiergeräusche bedingt (Pferde und ab und zu auch mal einen Hund). Aber nur sehr selten und nicht störend. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es viele wunderschöne Strände (Sand und Kieselstein), z.B. in Acharavi, Kassiopi oder auch direkt in Agios Spiridon. Egal ob man mit kleinen Kindern, mit Teenagern oder ohne Kinder unterwegs ist, es gibt für jeden etwas Passendes (für Wellen und stärkeren Wind (Surfen) wäre die südliche Westküste von Korfu besser). Das Haus selbst ist top gepflegt und der Reinigungs- und Handtuchwechsel-Service durch die Eigentümerin "Kiki" ist der Wahnsinn. Alles ist wie beschrieben, beide Schlafzimmer und das Wohnzimmer haben air-conditioning und auf der Hauptterrasse gibt es einen recht neuen hölzernen Sichtschutz der einem während der Mahlzeiten oder der Entspannung eine schöne Privatsphäre bietet. Es gibt genügend Stauraum in den Schränken für 6 Personen und viele Wäscheleinen zum Trocknen der Schwimmsachen und Handtücher. In Laufnähe befinden sich 3 Mini-Markets, für einen echten Supermarkt muss man aber nach Acharavi fahren, was mit dem Auto 5 Minuten dauert. Zusammenfassend ein tolles Haus. ----- The house is placed near the coastal road between Apraos and Acharavi (= part of Karniaris), but you do NOT hear any traffic. Across the road is a horse ranch, which leads to some animal noises (horses and an occasional dog), but only occasionally and not really annoying. There are many beautiful beaches (sand and rock) nearby, e.g. in Acharavi, Kassiopi or even directly in Agios Spiridon. Wether you are here with young kids, teenagers or just as a couple there are beaches for everyone available (for waves and stronger wind (surfing), the southern west-coast of Corfu would be better). The house itself is meticulously maintained and the cleaning and towel changing service from the owner "Kiki" is awesome. Everything is as described, both bedrooms and the living room have air-conditioning and there is a pretty new wooden patio on the main/front terrace which gives you privacy during eating or relaxing. There are enough closets for 6 people and many clotheslines for drying swim suits and towels. And 3 mini-markets are in walking distance, but for real supermarkets you have to drive to Acharavi, which takes 5 minutes by car. Overall a great place to stay.

Sehr schönes, bezauberndes kleines Häuschen

Also wir haben unser Häuschen geliebt - fanden es auch sehr sauber. Die Terrassen sind toll - man kann überall sitzen vor oder hinter dem Haus. Für andere Mieter müsste man aber trotzdem sagen : einfacher Standard. liebevolle Einrichtung mit schönen kleinen Details. Die Bilder geben einen sehr guten ist Eindruck, live hat es uns sogar noch besser gefallen. auch die Lage ist super, schön ruhig man ist für sich und dennoch ist man recht schnell am Strand. Zudem ein guter Ausgangspunkt um mit dem Auto die Insel zu erkunden - zumindest den oberen Teil. Geschirr hätte zu Beginn sauberer/frischer sein können. Ist bei Ferienhäusern ja fast immer der Fall, glaube das liegt an den Schränken. Wir haben alles einmal durchgespült - dann wars gut. Die Besitzerin ist super lieb und hilft gerne immer weiter wenn man Fragen hat. Als wir ankamen, standen schon frisches Obst und Getränke bereit. Wir haben uns einfach rundum wohlgefühlt. Ach, wir könnten fast schon wieder hin.

sehr schönes und sehr gut gepflegtes Ferienhäuschen

Villa Kiki ist ein von den Eigentümern sehr gut gepflegtes Ferienhaus mit schönem Garten und allen Anehmlichkeiten, die man als Selbstversorger sucht. Genug Platz für vier Personen und die technische Infrastruktur funktioniert einwandfrei. Die Eigentümer sorgen für Sauberkeit und kleine Willkommensgrüße und sind sehr hilfsbereit, wenn mal was klemmt. Die Villa liegt schattig zwischen Olivenbäumen, zum Strand sind es etwa 15 Minuten zu Fuss. Ein Auto ist unbedingt empfehlenswert für Einkäufe oder um Korfu zu erkunden. Nachts ist die Villa Kiki bei der ersten Anfahrt nur schwer zu finden, daher empfiehlt sich ein gutes Navi. WLAN funktioniert, aber braucht manchmal etwas. Der Fernseher hat nur wenige frei empfangbare Kanäle, aber das war uns gerade recht. Dafür umso mehr Liegeflächen auf den Terrassen, eine ist immer schattig gewesen. Einziges kleines Manko waren die Matratzen, die schon ein bisschen durchgelegen sind. Trotzdem eine wirklich schöne Zeit dort verbracht!

Schönes Ferienhaus in toller Lage

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in super Lage. Schöner Strand in der Nähe, v.a. für Kinder! Einziges großes Manko sind die bellenden Hunde abends und nachts. Die waren wirklich sehr laut! Ansonsten haben wir die Zeit sehr genossen.

Zeer nette woning waar alles aanwezig is wat je nodig kunt hebben. Gelegen op rustige locatie, ongeveer 10-15 minuten lopen vanaf het strand. Supermarktjes zijn er ook voldoende in de nabije omgeving.

schönes idyllisches Ferienhaus

Das Ferienhaus ist ruhig gelegen, hübsch und gemütlich eingerichtet. Der Strand ist fußläufig erreichbar. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Bei der Ankunft standen frische Blumen auf dem Tisch und in der Küche fanden wir auch einen Willkommensgruß. Die beiden kleinen Hauptstrände sind ok. Ein wenig abseits gibt es noch einen phantastischen Naturstrand mit Sandkies und kristallklarem Wasser. Dieser war kaum besucht und für uns ein Traum. Wir können Villa Kiki weiterempfehlen.

Wonderful retreat

We stayed at this awesome villa for a week and really had a great time. It is best for four persons, although we have been five at it was also fine (3 adults, 2kids),because the living room has a sofa bed. The small village has everything you need from small grocery shops to a nice beach, rental car station to tavernas and bars. Near this village you'll find more beautiful beaches, little towns with great restaurants. The villa itself has everything you need for your stay even a washing machine!

Es war ein toller erholsamer Aufenthalt mit vielen Vorzügen

Das Haus ist komplett neu renoviert und daher macht es schon was her. Das Haus verfügt über 2 große Schlafzimmer mit großen Kleiderschränken und jeweils einer Klimaanlage In dem Wohnzimmer findet ihr eine recht bequemes Sofa und TV/Sat und natürlich auch eine Klimaanlage Die echt große Küche hat einfach alles was man braucht von der Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, Mikrowelle und Waschmaschine bis hin zu einem sehr großen Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach Auch die Außenanlage ist sehr gepflegt und lässt keine Wünsche offen

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la villa, tout est exactement comme sur les photos! Les propriétaires sont charmants . La proximité du loueur de voiture et du supermarché sont très pratiques, ainsi que la plage où nous sommes allés à pied! La maison est très agréable et au calme. Nous reviendrons.

Sehr schönes, modern eingerichtetes Ferienhaus, ideal für Erholungssuchende

Das Ferienhaus ist in einem sehr guten Zustand, alles neu renoviert. Die Zimmer sind modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und alles ist sehr sauber. In beiden Schlafzimmern und im Wohnzimmer sind Klimaanlagen. Die Küche ist mit vielen neuen Elektrogeräten ausgestattet. Sogar eine Waschmaschine ist vorhanden. Vor und hinter dem Haus ist jeweils eine kleine Terrasse mit je 2 Sitzgelegenheiten und direkt neben dem Haus eine größere Terrasse mit dem Esstisch. So kann man immer wählen, ob man im Schatten oder in der Sonne sitzen möchte. In der Nähe ist eine Taverne und ein kleiner Supermarkt. Kann man beides bequem zu Fuß erreichen. Mit dem Auto ist man schnell am Strand, aber auch zu Fuß benötigt man nur ca. 15 bis 20 Minuten dorthin. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich; die Tochter spricht gut Englisch. Bei unserer Anreise hatten sie schon ein paar Lebensmittel für uns bereitgestellt. Von dem Ferienhaus aus kann man gut den Norden der Insel erkunden. Ein Auto ist empfehlenswert. Auf dem Grundstück ist ein Stellplatz vorhanden. Das Haus ist ländlich gelegen und ist gut für Erholungssuchende geeignet. In der Nähe sind noch zwei weitere Ferienhäuser, von den wir aber kaum etwas mitbekommen haben; auch dort waren ruhige Mieter. Gegenüber ist ein kleiner Pferdehof. Abends haben wir gern bei einem Glas Wein auf der Terrasse gesessen, gelesen und die Ruhe genossen. Nur nachts sind wir manchmal vom Bellen der Hunde aus der Nachbarschaft aufgewacht. Aber abgesehen davon haben wir uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und uns gut erholt. Wir können das Ferienhaus absolut weiterempfehlen.
