Stroll/beach comb the BEACH right from the edge of the property. PICNIC table/BARBECUE are on the deck & FIRE PIT at the waters edge. Open concept with modern fully equipped kitchen, relaxing living room with SMART TV and fireplace. This COZY retreat is very quiet and private. Perfect for any type of vacation or getaway! New for 2024 is a mini-split, just installed, to provide an air conditioned space in the summer months.
During your stay at this cottage, you'll be close to Cocagne Range Front Lighthouse. Features include laundry facilities. The cottage includes amenities such as free WiFi and a kitchen.

Perfect home base for our NB vacation

My family spent a week at the Salty Dog and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect home base — a beautiful spot for morning coffees and family dinners overlooking the cocagne bay, and a short drive to so many great beaches and attractions (including Hopewell Rocks). Our kids and dog loved running around the big grassy yard and wading in the bay. The hosts were friendly and attentive. Bonus points for the AC which was a life saver during a heat wave.

The Salty Dog Was Wonderful

Loved everything about The Salty Dog, from the cottage to the view. We had perfect weather and enjoyed both mornings having coffee on the deck watching the birds and herons glide over the clear calm water. Loved it so much and plan to go back.
