About the home

“Blue Bayou” is a delightful single-storey family home in Coronet Bay just metres from the Coronet Bay Reserve and minutes from the Boat Ramp. Some of the many features of this lovely pet friendly (outside only) home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

Entry into the home is to the large open plan Living/Dining/Kitchen provides a delightful light-filled area to relax (with smart TV, blueray player, 2 standalone speakers & bluetooth enabled amp plus a separate bluetooth speaker). A central hallway leads to Bedroom 1 (with BIR and TV), Bedrooms 2 & 3 (each with BIR), the bathroom (with spa bath, shower & toilet) and the fully equipped Laundry (with a 2nd toilet & a combination washing machine/clothes dryer). There is also a separate door from the Laundry to the yard.

Outdoor Areas

The front covered deck (with cafe blinds, gas BBQ, table & chairs for 6, plus additional wicker table/chairs available to be brought outside) overlooks the large fully enclosed block which is perfect for children and pets (pets to remain outside please) and also features an outdoor hot/cold shower. There is an enclosed and partially covered dog run (with 4ft fencing) on the side of the home, and the long driveway comfortably accommodates up to 4 vehicles (cars and/or a boat). The driveway side of the house also features a 15 amp electric socket - perfect for faster EV charging.

Please note there are security cameras facing external areas. They do not view any private areas in the home.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Aldi pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

There is a wall mounted reverse cycle airconditioner in the Living room, ceiling fans in all of the bedrooms plus two more in the Dining/Living Room, wall mounted electric heaters in all three bedrooms, plus electric blankets on all beds (except the trundle bed).

Bedding Configuration

This home has 5 beds, accommodating up to 6 guests:

Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: Two Single beds
Bedroom 3: One Single bed and one Single trundle bed

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process - Local council restrictions are in place for this property and compliance is mandatory.

Quiet bay retreat

Was a wonderful 5 nights at Coronet Bay. Beautiful peaceful town. The Bay is absolutely stunning, great for younger children especially in the calm weather, crystal clear water. Easy drive to Phillip island to explore and stock up on groceries. The house had everything we needed including a gated yard for our blue heeler. Will definitely be back again.

Lovely little getaway

Well presented, clean and comfortable 3 bedroom accommodation. Had everything that we needed and felt like a lovely little home away from home. We would love to come back and stay again!
