Placed directly in the heart of old town Port A, enjoy the unbeatable location of this quaint old town cottage. This coastal cutie is within steps of the best bars, restaurants, and retail that Port A has to offer, as well as the Port A museum and local coffee shop right across the street.
Anglers Court #2 sits in the center of Old Town Port Aransas, one of five original 1940s fishing bungalows sharing a grassy courtyard on Alister St. The cottage is compact and quiet, with a private entrance, a queen bed, and a kitchenette that has everything needed for morning coffee and a light meal. A 100-step walk puts you at Castaways Seafood and Grill. The Port Aransas Museum and a local coffee shop sit directly across the street. The bungalow era character is intact and the location is impossible to beat for an Old Town stay.
THE LAYOUT
Single-room bungalow with a private entrance off the shared courtyard. The layout keeps everything within arm's reach: queen bed, kitchenette, full bathroom, and room-darkening shades that keep mornings dark. Clean, compact, and straightforward- the kind of space that makes you want to spend all your time exploring town or relaxing at the beach.
THE KITCHEN
Kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee station stocked with complimentary coffee, tea, cream, and sugar. Dishes and silverware included. Note: there is no stove in this cottage. The Alister Street dining strip is steps away and covers every meal from breakfast through last call.
THE BEDROOMS
One bedroom with a queen bed. Bed linens and room-darkening shades included.
OUTDOOR
Shared courtyard with charcoal grill, spatula, and tongs available to all Angler's Court guests. A private hot-and-cold outdoor shower just outside the front door is perfect for rinsing off after a day out. On-site parking includes one designated spot assigned to this cottage.
BEACH / LOCATION
Anglers Court is about 3/4 mile from the beach at Horace Caldwell Pier. Golf carts are available through PAVC on the website and make the beach run and Old Town exploration easy. Shorty's Place, a Port Aransas institution since 1946, is a short walk down Alister Street. KC's Oyster Shack puts out a sign-up sheet at 3pm and fills fast.
