Shower head water pressure is too weak, what good is it to get a room if you can’t take a good shower. The ac wouldn’t go no lower than 66 degrees, which felt a lot warmer than that, to the point that the room felt humid , not comfortable. The room did not get cold till the morning.

reviews can be deceiving!

The best experience was with check-in. The front desk clerk was amazing. the bed in room 223 was uncomfortable, and the breakfast really sucked with old omelets with either bell pepper or chili couldn't tell because I don't eat that crap. In room 318 one of the beds was bed bug infested my brother had to sleep on the floor. Will not be returning or will not recommend to anyone.

the only problem we had was that the address does not say "Frontage Rd" so we ended up miles away in an empty field with our GPS stating we reached our destination. Really made us mad...we had to go to another Hawthorn to get correct info Please put in print that address must show Frontage Rd so others do not have to have this happen to them

Great experience!

This is an excellent hotel! It was very clean and that's at the top of the list for my wife and I. The room was spacious and very comfortable again everything was very clean and well put together. The breakfast was very good, yummy 😋 with lots of options. The staff was very helpful and super friendly. It has a gym sections with treadmills and it also has a wonderful pool and spa. Located in South Padre Drive is very centered close to everything. Plenty of parking and secure entry. Overall it was a great experience I will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this place.

Old hotel needs updating. Not worth the price! .75oz bottles of hair products for a room fit for 4 people! Bring your own bathroom products, for the price, shouldn’t have too. Staff was nice. But hotel leaves a lot to be desired!
