This hotel was decent it was literally Next to the beach! It was convenient and the price was not bad! The room was good not fabulous but fair! I just wish that this place had way more choices to eat! This hotel was on the older side of Corpus Christi from my understanding! However for the price it was good enough for us to stay! As long as you have your car so u can drive around to explore 😊

The hotel was decent, but certainly not a boutique hotel like the sign says. I was in walking distance to both the Lexington and the Aquarium. Nearby, but limited food/bar options were close. The outside was not clean when we pulled up, and the office attendant was trying to charge me for fees they claim Expedia does not charge. I explained that I would not pay, and she removed them. HOWEVER, the room was very clean and the cleaning attendants did an excellent job replacing towels, coffee, etc. Because the stairs are steep and the railings are wobbly, I would caution anyone that would need to lean on the railings to get up the stairs. You do have to pay for parking, and I'm not sure anyone ever checked on it, but we paid.

Very disappointing stay

Shower gel was empty. Phone didn’t work. Tv remote didn’t work. Manager offered to move us, but it was in the evening and we already unpacked. Railings on stairs were very loose and dangerous. Only one roll of one-ply toilet paper available. Only one hard chair in room. Towel rack was on the other side of the shower. No toilet lid to put towels on near the shower. Comfortable bed. No vending machines. The web site for the hotel described word class accommodations, beach bar and restaurant. There was beach bar and no restaurant. This was our honeymoon weekend and very disappointing. The manager was very nice and did his best to help with what he had to work with. We also had to put a $100.00 deposit on the room when we checked in. There was a sign at the front desk stating that the room had to be checked within 15 minutes of checking in to report any damage or problems. We didn’t see the sign until we checked out. That should have been explained at checkin. We did sightseeing during the day and didn’t discover the tv and phone problem til that evening. Even if the tv had worked there was no guide for channels. Even if the phone worked there was no guide to tell you how to call the front desk.

My only complaint about this property is it is not ADA compliant. I did not realize when booking there were not elevators and my daughter and I found it extremely difficult to carry our suitcases up and down the staircases and there were no rooms on the ground level. I don’t know if I would have booked it had I known that. The room was cute and it was a short walk to the beach as advertised. Our only other concern was there was no way not to get the floor of the bathroom wet when showering. The lip of the shower was very low and it was impossible to aim the shower head in a way that kept all water in the shower. The staff was very friendly, professional and accommodating when we showed up about 30 min before check in, by confirming our room was ready and allowing us to check in then.
