In contact with nature. Borgo Antico is a beautiful farmhouse on the high hills separating the wide green Valdichiana from the high Tevere valley. Situated on the border between Tuscany and Umbria it is the ideal place for those who wish to spend a relaxing holiday in contact with nature and old rural traditions, far from the noise and frenzy of the city.

The location. The Etruscan city of Cortona is approx. 18 km far, and in 5 or max. 10 km you can reach restaurants and small shops for basic food.

Pool, external spaces and typical Tuscan meals. Close to the villa there is a wide green area equipped with outdoor furniture and a 6x12 m swimming pool (depth 1,20-2,40 m, completely fenced - open from 01st May to 30th September). The villa is furnished with typical good quality Tuscan pieces and satellite TV. At full guests' disposal there is a barbecue, a wood-burning oven and the possibility to taste and buy good extra virgin olive oil and others typical products. On request the owner can provide some basic food shopping for the arrival day and every Tuesday he can prepare typical Tuscan dinners.
Pets are welcome (extra charge could be required).
GROUND FLOOR: large dining room with stone walls, kitchen and guest bathroom (basin and toilet).
FIRST FLOOR: accessible only via an external stone staircase, comprising a living room with stone fireplace, three double bedrooms, one bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, and two bathrooms with showers.
ATTIC: accessed via an internal staircase, living room, double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower, bedroom with double bed and single bed and en-suite bathroom with bathtub.
DEPENDANCE: small stone cottage adjacent to the farmhouse, on two levels, with a small living room on the ground floor and a double bedroom with bathroom with shower on the first floor.

Amazing views and pool

Amazing views, great pool and loads of space. We stayed in borgo antico with 10 adults and 6 kids. The beds are awefull though and the kitchen could be better equipped for such large groups. But the location and the terrain maintenance made up for that.

Tolle Landschaft, wunderschönes Grundstück, Schwimmen mit Aussicht. Küche ausgestattet für grosse Kochaktionen. Keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der unmittelbaren Nähe. Auto wird leider gebraucht.
