Great choice on a budget

The man at the front desk was exceptional with us. We checked into a room and it smelled a lot like smoke. He quickly put us into a different room. The room itself was beautiful. Recently remodeled, I almost forgot I was at a motel 6. Great place, would stay again for sure. Also a very great location. Restaurants/gas stations within walking distance. 15 min drive from Newport Beach.

THE MANAGER WAS RUDE AND DISGUSTING...OFFENDED ME, THEN GOT MAD WHEN I REACTED, CANCELLED MY Non refundable RESERVATION, DENIED MY REFUND TO EXPEDIA WHEN ASKED THE FIRST TIME, THEN THREATENED TO CALL THE COPS..ALL BECAUSE I WENT TO THE NIGHT WINDOW AT 7:30PM AND ASKED HIM TO PLEASE HURRY BECAUSE I HAD TO PEE SOOOOO BAD.. UNBELIEVABLE...UNSAFE, UNSTABLE, UNREAL, DONT STAY THERE! ALL BAD!!

The room was clean, but everything felt worn and outdated. The check-in process was frustrating—you’re connected to an employee on a computer screen who doesn’t speak any English, which made communication impossible. The bed was honestly one of the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on. To top it off, the property was noisy and hard to relax in. I would only consider staying here again as a last resort.

Nice staff

The front staff was very nice. Every person that worked at the front was nice… especially the manager room was like 1/2 the size of the photo…. Would have been nice if they would of come clean the room or at least take out the thrash… when I told them I put my thrash cans buy the door, they told me I can do it myself but they would do it..but they didn’t do it…

The place is dirty and sketchy, but the reason we would NEVER stay again is the horrific service. No one is in the lobby, it is locked, and there is no sign or call button. If you need anything, you will need to wait indefinitely. When I tried to locate the management, I was accused of harassment and they tried to kick us out of the hotel, with 2 children, at night. I called the police and they spoke to the management to allow us to stay. But absolutely never again. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at.

Friendly staff and well lit property. Not alot of homelessness so it felt safe. Worst mattresses ever and room smelled very bad like mildew or mold.
