Staff was amazing! Rooms were clean, and it was our anniversary and they gave us a bottle of champagne and made swabs out of towels and had them on the bed! Only complaint was wished there was a pool spot with more shade. The pools were pretty much in direct sunlight and only shade was under the swim up bars which was nice to sit at. The food was pretty good. The Italian restaurant was ok but the steakhouse was better. We did t try the other restaurants. Lots of food options at the buffet. The bartenders we awesome, making any drinks you wanted and at one point I was sitting at the swim up bad and they were just bringing me a drink when mine was getting low. It was such a good time! The entertainment staff was amazing always things going on to do! They are great about going around to ask people and get people involved! Honestly for our first time to Mexico this was a great experience!

Considering the reasonable price this resort was excellent. Well maintained with interesting restaurants and although it was at capacity it never seemed like it was crowded, even for dinner. It also sits on one fantastic beach where it is safe to walk miles in both directions and safe to dip into the ocean. Only small critiques. Bring your own soap and shampoo. Aim NOT to pay the prices at their shop and their quiet pool was not all that quiet. Otherwise a great stay, we would consider going again.

Room was great! Staff was great! Buffet food was very repetitive, but pretty good quality. Difficult to get beds by any of the pools, which was annoying and disappointing. Beach was clean and beautiful. Also difficult to find beds together for 4. Overall a good experience, but probably wouldn’t return.

Our stay at the Rio Latino was fantastic. The beach is stunning! We walked in both directions for quite a long way! All of the staff are fantastic! Especially Marlene at the buffet for breakfast and lunch and Rene at the sports bar! The rooms were clean and kept clean daily (if you choose) and a beautiful swan towel left on the bed as a lovely, personal touch!! the resort definitely has a party side to it. We are in our mid 50s, and do not party any longer, but still really enjoyed our stay! There are plenty of dance and music parties for those that want to partake in that kind of thing. The pools are all beautiful, and the waterslides were a blast! We left feeling very relaxed and pampered at this resort!

We stayed here the week of the super bowl, and the staff was amazing, they gave us a room right above the night club and it was very loud the first night when we went to the front desk they had no problem changing our room, the food was very good, down side is that the restaurants fill up fast and you can't get in, but the buffet food was well above average. The entertainment staff was excellent. BEWARE!!!! of the event parties that take place at the Hotel Carribbe, do not go, the bus ride takes forever to get there and back and when you are there you run the risk of getting drugged, we talked with quite a few people and everyone had the exact same story of how they felt when they left there.

The room was very clean and had plenty of room. Food was very good. Pool area was excellent !One major problem. Our room was directly above a nightclub that played music until 02:00! Had to use earplugs and pillow to sleep. That was every night!! I am going to write a separate letter to RIU company.

I stayed here last month and I would not suggest this place unless you want mediocre food, poor service and lack of empathy. My friend had an allergic reaction due to cross contamination and the best they could do was offer their apologies and a doctor for an extra fee. I dont know what kind of place that does not treat an allergic reaction with urgency. So if you potentially die on property, please do it elsewhere. They'll only offer fake apologies and thoughts and prayers. Ive heard of a lot of people getting sick from the food here. Get travelers insurance! The steak house had one of the worst steak in the world, the asian restaurant had gas station sushi and everything was a buffet. The main buffet was probably their saving grace. We just went off property for better food. House keeping was also on the low end too. Towels werent delievered after we requested them. Even after they said that they've done it. Bedsheets werent changed. The bed was just remade. My friend had a blood stain on the sheet that was there for three days and we requested
