The hotel was lovely. The breakfast was great and it was clean and comfortable. It was in a beautiful area and the bar attached had lots of seating and was nice to relax in. The only slight downside was the third Murphy bed in the room, little ones would have been fine, but with a 17 and 13 year old the beds were a little small.

Mountain village hotel great value for money

Very nice hotel in beautiful mountain village. Tortuous narrow and bendy road for about 20 km to hotel that took approx 1 hour to traverse. Spacious room with comfortable bed. Beautiful breakfast with lots of choice- cold options only. Staff friendly and efficient. Only minus was no air conditioning in the room. Fabulous value for money.

I was surprised by how awesome this hotel was. I had one final night to spend in Italy and I wanted something different, but something relatively close to Bergamo and this met both requirements. It is a family-owned operation with excellent facilities. It sits up in the mountains and you need a car to get there, but if you make the trip, the view and area are awesome. The people are super friendly and most of the staff speak decent or good English. I would definitely stay there again if I was in the area. No regrets at all.

The property was fantastic. The staff were fantastic. Working really hard and provided a great stay at basically the only place open on the mountain. But it didn't feel like anything was lacking. Breakfast was great, dinner was absolutely delicious. Will definitely come back again to try some of the hiking paths in the area.

A very good choice

Very friendly people giving good service. Very clean room with a beautiful view on the balcony. There is a choice of excellent dishes in the evening all from the region chosen by the hotel, also not that expensive.

Underwhelming with no wi-fi

The hotel does not even remotely deserve the 4.7 star rating that was indicated in June 2015. Moreover, the hotel does not even have any character and is really remote. Having said that, the hotel is an overall good condition, and the staff speaks solid English. The room for an adult and two kids turned out to have only one queen size bed, and no additional bed or sofa. Wi-fi didn't work at any point during our stay. In addition, the electricity was not available in our room the entire morning.

Lovely hotel in the beautiful Bergamo Alps.

This hotel is a great find. Set in a sleepy village in the stunning Bergamo mountains. The hotel is a family run hotel which is welcoming and totally Italian. The owners speak a little English but with our own efforts of Italian there were no problems in fact this added to the escape from our busy modern lives. When we arrived the hotel restaurant was busy with locals enjoying Sunday lunch - a good sign!! The food in the hotel is as with all authentic Italian dishes simple but delicious. Rooms are clean and comfortable with lovely bathroom. Just lovely with everything you need with a warm welcoming personal touch.
