2 Bedrooms - Sleeps 4. A luxurious two-bedroom cottage perched on the seashore at Letterfrack, Connemara on the Wild Atlantic Way. The cottage has been lovingly furnished to a modern standard, and offers unrivalled views of Ballinakill bay, Diamond Hill and the surrounding woodlands and countryside. The property is located in an idyllic location, beside a working Oyster farm. Connemara National Park and Diamond Hill are just 3.5km away. Kylemore Abbey, Killary Fjord and the well-known beaches at Lettergesh and Glassilaun are all reachable within a 10-15-minute drive of the cottage. Fishing is available on nearby lakes and rivers including the Dawros river, Kylemore Lough, Lough Inagh and Derryclare Lough. There are several walking trails within the Connemara National Park, for walkers of every level of experience. The nearest village is Letterfrack, and is host to a supermarket, bars, restaurants, cafés and take aways, all reachable within a 6-minute drive, and offering everything you will need for a comfortable self-catering stay. Other nearby villages include Tullycross and Tully, which are just a 5-6-minute drive from the cottage. Clifden town is a 20-minute drive and is host to larger supermarkets and services. A little further afield are Westport and Galway city - both within an hour's drive. This is a perfect base for couples and friends seeking a luxurious getaway in a peaceful location, while still being close to walks, beaches, fishing, pony trekking, boat trips, and many more activities and attractions. Short breaks are available all year round.

2 Bedrooms - Sleeps 4. A luxurious two-bedroom cottage with sea views. The property is accessed via a country road which is shared with the neighbouring Oyster farm. The accommodation is all on ground floor level. Upon entering the cottage, you will find yourself in a bright modern combined space that includes the large, well-equipped kitchen and comfortable living and dining areas. This area includes a large sliding door that leads onto the terrace - a perfect spot for dining or relaxing on a fine day. The galley style kitchen includes kettle, toaster, dishwasher, two refrigerators - one with ice box, oven, hob, and microwave, as well as ample storage and all necessary equipment including silverware, crockery, utensils, pots, and pans. The living area includes comfortable sofa and armchairs and large flat screen internet TV. The large windows flood the space with light as well as providing fabulous views of the sea and the surrounding countryside. Two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms complete the accommodation. Bedroom 1 includes a luxurious super-king bed with high quality linens, lockers, lamps, and bedroom furniture. The en-suite bathroom is fully tiled and includes WC, sink, and walk in shower cubicle. This bedroom also includes a laundry closet which holds a washer and a dryer, as well as ironing facilities. Bedroom 2 includes a luxurious super-king bed with high quality linens, lockers, lamps, and bedroom furniture. The super-king bed can be used as a twin if required. This should be arranged with the caretaker in advance of arrival. The en-suite bathroom includes WC, and en-suite bathrooms with walk in shower cubicle. Timber floors throughout. The property is centrally heated throughout with an economical air to water heating system which provides the height of comfort and constant hot water. Due to the close location of the cottage to the open seashore, it is not unsuitable for babies, infants, toddlers, and young children. Older children are welcome to stay. Stunning Views & So Much More!

We saw the listings photos and knew we wanted to stay in a place with that view.... It was even more fabulous in person! Communication with the property manager was a pleasure and he took care of everything we needed and even checked in again to make sure all was going well. The space was truly a delight. It's in the wilds - small road, surrounded by water and the oyster farm. The house itself was brand new and so comfortable!!! We loved the open concept and spaciousness it provided. In terms of location, we felt like we were out there, but we found Letterfrack and the surrounding areas to be filled with fabulous places to visit, eat, and listen to local music. It was a perfect location! And then the farm... I'm no stranger to the sea, but I had never eaten as fresh an oyster as I did at DK Connemara Oysters. Their tagline says it all, "Taste the Atlantic." If it's not on your itinerary to take a tour and sample the fresh oysters, add it on!!! This accommodation provided many cherished memories and highly recommend it!
