There were several things: 1.Doors wouldn't work right. You had to scan your key and turn the handle backward 2.Room Lights wouldn't work. You would have switches that did absolutely nothing and have to fiddle around in the dark. 3.Pool was tiny, more like a hot-tub, and always closed whether you showed up to the time posted or not, maybe it was because of maintenance but I stayed 9 days nd wassn't able to use it at all. 4. Fitness room was a joke. One broken treadmill, a elliptical, a free-weight set, some mats and that's about it. Really had to get creative with my workouts. 5.Breakfasts started at 6:30am. I had to work at 7 so it was a always a rush. Hampton started at 6 or 5 it made mornings more relaxing. 6. One of the elevators was out. 7. As it turns out the state of Iowa likes to apply "tourism taxes" to stays here and others in the area. Ask for a reciept when coming here. 8. F*** OMAHA. There is nothing here except architecture, casinos, and homeless people. Not worth how expensive everything is. Any "Tourism" here is a miracle that the state should be grateful for. The airport was more entertaining. The one thing this place has going for it is the nice ladies at the desk to help you out if you ask. Otherwise don't waste your time.

Impressive room and common area - bright and clean. Looked new and spacious. Beds and pillows are great. One note - Room 208 - Both entry and bath doors are poorly hung, clearly noticed from inside room at night with interior lights off. You can clearly see through the sizable gap along the side. I don't know if it reduces safety but it's not a good image.
