“SaltAir” is a modern single-storey family home in Cowes just a comfortable walk from the beach or a short drive from the supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The main bedroom is at the front of the home (with smart tv) has a walk in robe, leading to the en-suite (with shower & double vanity) and a separate toilet. The next room down the central hallway is the 2nd living room (with smart tv) and main bathroom (with bath & shower) and a separate toilet. Bedrooms 2, 3 & 4 all have built in robes and the rear of the home opens out to the huge open plan kitchen / dining / living room (with smart tv). There is a separate laundry that is accessed off the kitchen as well as an enormous walk in pantry.
Outdoor Areas
There is an outdoor table & seating for 8-10 people. The large double garage has a fold up table tennis table and internal access into the home as well as the enclosed rear yard, perfect for children and pets (NO cats please) . There is parking for up to 2 cars in the garage as well as another on the driveway, plus a side drive with space for another 2 vehicles (car and/or boat) - one behind a gate and the other in front of the gate.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, Nutribullet, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, 900mm electric oven and 900mm 5-burner gas cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There is a gas ducted heating system throughout the home as well as a ducted evaporative cooling system.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 9 beds plus 1 sofa bed, accommodating up to 13 guests:
Bedroom 1: One King bed
Bedroom 2: One Queen bed
Bedroom 3: Two sets of Single bunks
Bedroom 4: One set of Single bunks and one Single trundle bed
There is also a sofa bed/divan in the 2nd living room that folds out to a Queen sized bed, suitable for 2 adults or children.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties, or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process. Local council restrictions are in place for this property, and compliance is mandatory.
