“Timmys at Cowes” is a delightful older style family & pet friendly single-storey home in Cowes just a short drive or comfortable walk from the supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cowes, and a 5 minute walk to the pet friendly beach. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

The open plan Dining/Family/Kitchen (with 50" smart TV) flows into a separate formal Lounge. A central hallway leads to Bedroom 1 at the end of the hallway with a chest of drawers & clothes rack, wall mounted 32" TV and access to the dual entry ensuite (with walk-in shower, toilet with grab bars & heated towel rail), Bedroom 2 features BIR and access to the dual-entry ensuite, and Bedroom 3 which has BIR. There is also a separate Bathroom (with shower over bath & toilet) plus a fully equipped Laundry (with washing machine) and a clothes dryer (located in the Games Room).

Outdoor Areas

The side of the home is a covered Pergola (with gas BBQ & table/chairs for 8) that overlooks the enclosed rear yard - perfect for children and pets. There is a shed that has been converted into a fantastic childrens games room (with 50" smart TV & DVD player, table tennis table, board games, drinks fridge, couch & a radio). The Double Carport provides space for 2 cars, with space for a further 2 vehicles (cars and/or a boat) in the long driveway.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, toaster, kettle, slow cooker, and air fryer, plus a double sink, fridge (plus 2nd drinks fridge in Games Room), double drawer dishwasher, electric oven and gas cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

There are two wall mounted reverse cycle air conditioners; one in the Living room and the other in Bedroom 1, ceiling fans in all three Bedrooms, wall mounted electric heating in all bedrooms, plus one additional stand-alone fan and three stand-alone heaters which can be used where required.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 6 beds, and a fold-out bed, accommodating up to 9 guests:

Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: Two sets of Single bunks
Bedroom 3: One Queen bed

There is also a fold out Single bed (stored in Bedroom 2) that can be used where required.

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties, or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process. Local council restrictions are in place for this property, and compliance is mandatory.
