Melia is a great place to stay. The restaurants, bars, pools, beach, rooms, etc. are all nice. Work out room is adequate as well. We did participate in many of the activities. Volleyball and aerobics were fun. April does a great job running her tasks. I feel like the other staff in leadership roles do not know English as well as she does. But that is my fault, as I know zero Spanish - lol. The entertainment was adequate, most of the day staff work hard to put shows on at night. The magic show was very cool, especially the shadow puppet master. The ocean in front of the resort was the only downer. The water was brown for 3 or 4 days and we snorkeled and swam at the neighboring resort. The water did clear up at the end of our trip. The snorkeling is amazing just south of the resort. The bartenders and waiters were all fantastic. My wife and I did participate in the level option. The feature is really not necessary, as the other two rooms that my family stayed in were not part of the level and we did everything together with no issues. I would go back. This is the first time staying at the Melia, but we have been to Cozumel many times. We love the beaches, San Miguel, etc. We have never had a problem staying on this island and will continue coming.

Our family of 5 loved our time at Melia! It’s a beautiful resort right on the beach. The entire staff was incredible and definitely elevated the experience. Plenty of space/access at the beach, pools, restaurants, and other amenities.

All of the staff was great. Food was great! We put money and valuables along with a piece of new jewelry in the safe, The next day the jewelry was stolen

Food at buffet was very hit or miss. Breakfast by far superior. Hard to get into reserved restaurants, especially for larger groups. Otherwiss stagg is excellent, grounds are well kept and nothing is far away on the resort. Smaller and quaint.

This resort is so family friendly. The crafts for kids were unique and fun. There is so much to do at this resort that we didn't even need to book any off-site excursions. Resort is beautiful and very safe. Loved every minute.

This resort is a good size, the buffet doesnt have a lot of great options, but the food was always fresh. The ocean water at this resort is cloudy, but if you go to the El Cozumelena next door the water is crystal clear. They have nightly entertainment. It is always in different areas and fluctuates from accoustic guitar to historical dancing plays. I liked this resort i just wished the food selection was better.

Very good stay. Great white sand beach on the property. Good food: our favorite is Mole Tacos. The rooms are well maintained although they are showing some ages. Surprisingly the boxes springs are very dirty, but luckily they were just dirty and didn’t contain bed bugs. Staff is very friendly. With exception to the box springs, it would have been all 5s.
