Days Inn Cranbrook is well run and the staff are excellent. They have a person making omlettes every morning. Only complaint: I could not adjust the air for my room and it was constantly running. I was a bit cold.

Beds advertised as queens are doubles. We have a queen bed in our home and stay in lots of hotels and this was no where near a queen. The pillows were awful and we can always find 1 pillow that will work but not here. The hotel was very noisy from street traffic. Showerhead was so low that i had to bend a long ways at my knees to get my head under and i am only 5'9". We rarely leave reviews but this was a terrible experience

One of the staff members found bear spray and set it off on the third floor and that is the floor we were staying on. Odor made our eyes water and persistent coughing. We were not allowed to go back to our room for an hour after fire trucks and EMT’s checked guests over. Staff went back inside to grab water and did not offer any for the guests standing outside coughing in the heat. Was disappointing to see elderly guests not being looked after and staff huddled at the front door not speaking to scared quests. Not impressed with the lack of courteousness offered and no apology or discount offered for any inconvenience. Just unprofessional behaviour in my opinion and was not happy

Was disappointing to find out at checkout that the room we were given was not supposed to be given out. Bathroom sink would not drain, toilet would not fill up. Even after we asked to have the sink fixed. Poor staff communication. These are important when renting a room. Also limited parking and not secure as stated. Chances of staying here againin Cranbrook are slim.

When the rooms were renovated, they did not update the bathrooms. Paint was peeling off the walls , the door had pieces of wood missing from the bottom and there were brown stains on the ceiling in the bathroom. The main area of the room was clean and modern. Enjoyed the patio door that led to the central courtyard with a pool. Breakfast selection was great, serving both cold and hot options

Room was ok. The pillows were horrible and so lumpy it was hard to sleep. Also wanted to grab a couple bottles of water and their machine was out and no where else to purchase. Had to walk to the convenience store to get some. Also the bathrooms were small and to close the door you had to maneuver around. The place was clean and the lobby very nice. And staff was helpful when I asked for an additional pillow. Was an ok stay but I won’t be staying here again.

Clean and spacious rooms. Convenience store, gas station nearby. Good breakfast, that included cereal, pancakes, individually made omelet, hash browns, sausage, bacon. There was only 1 girl working in the breakfast room. While she was busy making omelets and pancakes, she ran out of basically everything, which was a little frustrating. I felt sorry for her. You definitely need 2 staff working the breakfast room.
