This house is just beautiful. Set in the grounds of, and next door to the owners own house, it has its own patio with table and chairs and views down the long lawn towards the fields beyond. One of the bedrooms has a balcony with seating which is perfect for an evening wine. Ample on site parking on the drive, it is located in a quiet road but a only short walk to a decent pub that does food Wed -Sun. The house is spotless, comfortable and exceptionally well equipped. The owners are lovely and so welcoming. The welcome pack was a lovely touch with local bread and butter and milk. Honestly couldn't recommend this property highly enough. The village of Hawkhurst is very accessible, by car, to loads of interesting, historic and beautiful places to visit. The village also has a Waitrose, Tesco superstore and petrol stations. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
