This property was everything we needed and more. The staff were extremely kind, helpful and friendly. Jim, the manager, was fabulous! The location was within walking distance of the downtown district and there was plenty of parking on the hotel’s private parking lot. The rooms were very clean with comfortable beds. We would definitely stay here again!

Unique Community

The hotel is a well maintained older hotel (historic red brick building) off the highway in the heart of downtown. The room is clean and spacious. We found excellent eateries within walking distance. We also enjoyed walking around looking at the older buildings.

I have stayed at the Baker Hotel a few times this year. It is clean, the rooms I have been in have a little kitchen with a microwave and coffeemaker. Bed is comfortable. Awesome pillows. Always quiet. The front desk staff are very helpful and friendly.

One of the best rooms on our road trip. There was no elevator but that’s no big deal. It was street parking bc it’s a renovated historic building. Finding a spot was pretty easy. Jim who checked us in was awesome and very helpful!!

Cranbrook respite.

The Baker is a beautiful and historic hotel in the center of town. I was greeted warmly upon arrival and had a wonderful stay. The bed is very comfortable and the room was very clean. The restaurant recommendations were spot on and within walking distance. I do not hesitate to recommend the Baker Hotel.

This property is not for older folks. Our room was a 3rd floor walkup. The jacuzzi tub in the bathroom was unsafe for older people, so I had to skip my usual morning shower.

The room itself is clean, comfortable, and quiet. There is a safety concern with the third floor guardrail (loose spindles) and the stair handrail doesn't go all the way to the top of the third floor.
