Nestled on the banks of the Saône (protected as a "Natura 2000 Zone" for its rich flora and fauna ecosystems, particularly ornithological), with all the amenities (large shopping area located away) and numerous sports and leisure facilities (including a renowned lake / Port d'Arcia leisure center with supervised swimming), Crêches-sur-Saône benefits from a magnificent hilly landscaped setting, combining vineyards and vast preserved wild forest massifs offering sublime panoramic viewpoints over the Val de Saône, the Alps and up to Mont-Blanc on a clear day!
