Experience Creede like a local in this recently remodeled 2-bedroom cabin. Guests find a welcoming space featuring a king bed downstairs, queen bed and a day bed in the upstairs loft, perfect for families or friends. Two bathrooms offer convenience with showers and hair dryers. The cabin stays cozy with radiant heating and a propane log fireplace, creating a pleasant retreat after a day of exploring. The cabin is accessible year-round where you can enjoy hiking, fly fishing, ATV/UTV trail rides in the summer, the brilliant aspen color change in the fall or snowmobiling, skiing and snow shoeing in the winter. The cabin is a few minutes from Creede, home to the Creede Repertory Theater, local shopping, The Underground Mining Museum and various events scheduled throughout the year.

The kitchen is equipped with a side-by-side refrigerator, dishwasher, range with air fryer option, microwave, Keurig and various small appliances. A stacked washer and dryer are located next to the kitchen. Fiber optic high speed internet supports wireless internet and Roku TV streaming. We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed using this home as our base for exploring Creede, Lake City, the Alpine Loop, and the surrounding San Juan mountains. The location worked out beautifully for us. It was close enough to town to enjoy restaurants, coffee, the theatre, and local shops, while still feeling peaceful and scenic.The house was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, and it gave our group plenty of room to relax after long days of hiking, sightseeing, and exploring. We especially appreciated having a comfortable place to come back to after some big mountain adventures.Communication was smooth, check-in was easy, and everything was as described. This ended up being a great home base for a memorable Colorado trip, and we would definitely recommend it to others visiting the Creede/Lake City area.
