owner didn't follow thru

Water heater didn't work, unable to shower. Notified owner and he said he would make it right. Offered another nights stay (but why would we...we needed a shower), then offered to give us a credit, which he never did. Followed with him twice after his promise, first time had an excuse, 2nd time, no response. Initial check information was not really provided. While we were there, another person opened the door telling us he was there to rent the place. Would have like to give the guy a better review, and gave him benefit of doubt, but he never followed through.
