Academy Place | Valerian

Academy Place Valerian is located around the beautiful Academy Place Courtyard in downtown Crested Butte, Colorado. It has easy access to bus stops for both the local Mountain Express and RTA for easy transportation to Mt. Crested Butte for various activities, and is walkable from everything you could want within the town of Crested Butte. Just a few blocks away from Elk Avenue, Academy Place is the perfect distance to all of the restaurants and shops on the main street, without being in the middle of it all. It’s central location provides easy access to the local grocery store and movie theater as well, just a few short blocks in the other direction. The Center for the Arts is across the street as well for local entertainment.

Valerian is a cottage, meaning you would rent the entire home for yourself! It is a three bedroom, ideal for multiple couples or those who want their own space. Upstairs, the primary bedroom has a King bed with an ensuite bathroom containing a large bathtub and steam shower. On the ground level, Valerian has a fully equipped kitchen with large appliances and cookware, a dining table, and large living space with a gas fireplace and a powder room. Downstairs you will find two bedrooms with Queen beds and ensuite bathrooms for each bedroom. Valerian can sleep a total of six, two in each bedroom.

Valerian also has a full sized washer and dryer, onsite parking for two cars in addition to available street parking, and a large living room with a Smart TV and Sonos for music. Each bedroom has its own TV. The outside space includes a private porch with an outdoor propane grill. Please note that this unit does not have air conditioning.

Things to note about Valerian as opposed to other Academy Place units are that it is ideal for groups who do not want twin beds or sleeper sofas, particularly groups of couples or families with adult children. For larger groups who need more than one unit, Valerian is located between Mariposa and Paintbrush, both of which can be rented in addition to Valerian to accommodate more people.
