This is a nice place, nice welcome. We booked the last room which unfortunately was nothing like any of the modern images and certainly wasn’t worth half the room rate. The plumbing was dreadful, so noisy, it must have disturbed other guests. The room was over the bar and kitchen so very noisy. The headboard was made of ply, the wallpaper on the ceiling peeling, the wardrobe nearly fell over, the curtain rail nearly off the wall. We ate there, but sent back our starter of Baked Camembert because it was lukewarm, to be told that good quality cheese doesn’t melt!, Breakfast was however great. Good find but careful what you are booking! Just disappointing.
