Base for wedding nearby
Initial problem receiving communication as my booking went through Expedia although I booked through homeaway and I was unaware of this. However on contacting homeaway they were able to provide me with contact details for the owner. After that I was able to deal with her directly, very helpful and quick to respond with any queries.
On arrival the cottage was immaculate and dry welcoming. The wine and brownies were delicious. We went into Crieff for supplies which didn’t take long to get there.
There were 5 adults staying for a family wedding in nearby Comrie. Which was £20 home in a taxi which is what I expected. There was enough room for all of us not to be falling over each other.
The only negatives I would say is perhaps a bigger sign at the bottom of the track road. Although directions given to us by the host were really good, we arrived in daylight however 3 arrived at 11pm and found it a little more difficult. The other thing would be the track from the main road to the cottage is really rough and we literally had to drive at less than 5mph to ensure no damage to the car, but I appreciate that tractors use it and it would be really expensive to tar.
All in all a great time had by all, just a pity we were only there to sleep and get ready. Would have been great if the weather was on our side but the heating more than made up for that.
Would definitely recommend and stay again.
