A big hit with locals and visitors alike, this town has a cinema, zoo, amusements, museum, mainline railway link and of course its famous pier where you can enjoy a coffee or lunch or maybe even take in one of the seasonal end-of-pier shows, the last of their kind in the country. Venture a little further however and discover a string of delightful seaside towns and villages boasting sand and shingle beaches, salt and clay marshes, rolling sand dunes and picturesque quays.
