The well-equipped kitchen and dining space make shared meals a delight, while the lounge invites you to unwind with a board game or simply soak up the relaxing atmosphere.

With five bedrooms spread across the property, there’s plenty of room for everyone. The main house features three bedrooms: a luxurious super king room, a queen room, and a twin room with two single beds perfect for children or extra guests. Two additional queen bedrooms are located in a separate sleepout, offering privacy and space for extended family or friends. The sleepout has a shared ensuite bathroom situated between the two queen rooms, ensuring comfort and convenience for all guests.

In total, there are three bathrooms, including one with a bath ideal for a relaxing soak after a day of adventure.

Ideally located just minutes from Lake Dunstan, Lakeside Retreat is a fantastic base for outdoor lovers, especially keen cyclists and golfing enthusiasts. The Cromwell Golf Club and charming Cromwell Heritage Precinct are both nearby, and you're only a short drive from one of the starting points of the Otago Rail Trail. This 152-kilometre trail offers some of the most scenic biking in New Zealand, tracing the route of the former Otago Central railway line.
