Volare Blue — A Lofted Escape
Volare Blue isn’t simply a stay—it’s a feeling.
The scent of wild pines after rain.
Morning fog drifting through the trees.
Firelight under a black velvet sky filled with stars.
There’s something about this place that slows everything down—just enough for you to breathe.
At sunset, put a record on—Volare on vinyl—and let the day wind down the way this space was meant to be experienced.
Our Story
More than 30 years ago, our family discovered a little slice of heaven in the mountains of Western North Carolina and built Belle Viste—a generational home with sweeping views of Lake Glenville, surrounding peaks, and wildflower fields.
When the adjacent land became available, we knew it was a rare opportunity to share this landscape.
The Wild Pines Collection was born—two tiny homes, each with its own personality:
Piccola House (a small Italian “gem”) and Volare Blue (voh-LAH-reh), meaning to fly, to soar.
We hope your time here feels a little different—in the best way.
Signature Moments at Wild Pines
• Ring the good luck bell on arrival—and again before you leave
• Scatter a pinch of native wildflower seeds, gently giving back to the land
