Entire home clean, comfortable bed, great for family. Wonderful having laundry available. Couldn’t have a better location for everything in the Hills, whether it be for walking or driving. Easy check-in. We would definitely stay again! Thanks for a great week!

The location was great, couldn’t ask for better. Fast walk to the downtown and the house was everything we needed. I highly recommend this spot. Also, fast travel to the Cathedral Spires/Needles Highway and everything that you want to see in the Sacred Black Hills.

Our favorite place to stay in Custer! It’s close to every thing, well equipped in the kitchen and so nice to just snuggle into after a day of adventure.

Check -in was seamless and the interior of the house was done well. We had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed the location. While we did not cook a meal, the kitchen was well set up. We would stay here again.

Cute little house

I rented this place because it was really cute and it had 2 recliners for my husband and I to sleep. We were in town for a family reunion. Our place was a good central location for people to gather. Some items are needed in the kitchen to help travelers out. Like sugar, dry powdered creamer and dish rags for wiping down counters.

Great Spot in Custer

I loved the place. Kitchen was really nice. Bathrooms are small, but are just fine. My only complaint would be the queen beds were really shaky. Meaning if your partner even moved in the slightest, you will feel it. I ended up sleeping downstairs on the couch. Still, a great place to stay if your in Custer.

We wanted a base camp for a family of five to be able to explore all over the Black Hills area, including as far west as Devil's tower, as far east as the Badlands, and even down to Hot Springs. Custer was a beautiful little town with some nice shopping, great Custer State Park with a lot of variety, outstanding location near so many attractions, we loved it! We would absolutely return to this VRBO and recommended to friends and family. The owners were very responsive to the question we had upon arrival, and they were willing to come help if needed. There is another unit on the back end of the building, but we didn't hear them, and we shared parking space out front, which was no big deal.

Location location location!

Home was perfectly situated to visit Custer state Park, Crazy Horse Monument, and both Jewel & Wind Cave. The kitchen was well stocked and the place was roomy and quiet. It could use a coffee table and some bedside lamps, but otherwise it was perfect.

Best place to stay in Custer!

This is the perfect location to easily get to all the fun attractions around Custer as well as being able to enjoy what the town of Custer has to offer. The house is close enough to the main street downtown that you can walk to restaurants and bars, but far enough away to be super quiet at night. The house itself is very well maintained and they have literally everything you need to enjoy your stay.

Sleeps 6 not 8

The place is very clean and we enjoyed our stay. The only problem is that it is listed for 8 people and there is only space for 6!! Very disappointing. One of our group had to sleep in the floor.

No AC! Do not get entire home

There is no AC! We arrived after 15 hours of traveling. Very tired and hot. Home was 83 degrees downstairs and 90 upstairs. We could not get it to cool down. I tried calling the phone number for the host twice and messaged them 3 times. Got no response. It was so hot that we left and found a hotel. She finally got back with me the next morning. She apologized and offered to put a window unit in, but that was too late. I asked about a refund, even if it was partial and I still haven’t heard anything from her. Her description doesn’t state there is AC. But it does not say there isn’t one. I understand it is cold most of the time in SD but if you rent you should have AC. This is my first ever bad review on VRBO.
