The website didn't say that there was a $40 per night charge for a pet. The place could use a good cleaning. The bed however was comfortable. The hardest working person I saw was the lady who did breakfast. The night desk clerk was very nice.

On est resté une nuit et heureusement. Les chambres ne sont pas de toute fraicheur je trouve mais surtout en allant nous coucher j’ai découvert des tâches sur les draps et il y avait des poils sur le drap housse. On dirait qu’ils n’avaient pas changé les draps entre 2 clients. De plus ce n’est pas une couette c’est un drap et une couverture toute fine. Déçue car habituellement cette chaine d’hôtel est plutôt correct.

We tried to check in at 1:00 which was 2 hours early. Even though our room was ready the young lady wouldn't let us check in unless we paid a $30 fee. My wife's sister had a room at another motel and they had no problem checking in early.

The location was very convenient to Custer State Park, Wind Cave, Jewel Cave, and Sylvan Lake. Our room’s cleanliness was subpar. Something was spilled in our shower and we found a sock laying on the floor from the previous person in our room.

I experienced the worst night ever in this hotel room. We found Bed Bugs and told the office and the lady at the front desk acted as if I was inconveniencing her. She did move us to a new room but it only slept 2 people and had one bed when I have 4 people. She brought a small and uncomfortable roll away bed, but the room was so small that it barely fit. There was literally no room to walk around. After we went to the new room, we inspected it and found TONS of bugs everywhere! Not only that but there where crumbs and dust in the corners and on the furniture. The curtains where stained with dirt and little red dots. More evidence of Bed Bugs! Since it was so late and I needed my kids to go to bed we were left with no choice but to stay for the night. My mom and I barely slept that night living with the heebie jeebies. Couldnt wait to check out in the morning... the manager was supposed to contact me, but I never heard from him. I paid $150 to live in hell for a night so I will be avoiding Best Western in the future.

We booked this property last minute and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of breakfast, the clean rooms and the ease of checking in. The coffee was good too. There is a $40 pet fee which surprised us because it was pet friendly.
