My family and I are world travelers and we enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Hotel Royal. From the courteous staff, to the impeccably clean rooms, to the rooftop pools and excellent service and breakfast, we would stay here again in a heart beat! The location was great. It was outside of the ancient town and very walkable to everything. We enjoyed our river view room with the balcony.

Staff was attentive, nice, and efficient in returning all questions via email. They were also very helpful in arranging transportation. Rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Spa was wonderful and Emma was the best! Buffet was a two thumbs up for having a variety of choices (Vietnamese, American, healthy, etc.). Great location too! I would def stay here again!

This hotel is beautiful facility just outside of Ancient Town. A very walkable area with many great restaurants nearby. The evening activities in the area are not to be experienced. Ms. Tran in Guest Services was a daily delight. With two pools, a rooftop bar with a view and very good breakfast buffet it was worth the stay.

Amazing stay!

Amazing service all around! The staff was excellent and always polite and accommodating. They even surprised my husband with a birthday cake on his birthday, which was such a sweet and unexpected gesture. The rooms were very clean and bed and pillows were super comfy. The morning breakfast was delicious with so many options, including local cuisine favorites. Location was great too, very close to night market and close to lantern boats on the river. Such an amazing city and hotel. We will definitely come back and stay here again!

My stay here was absolutely perfect. The rooms are lovely, the hotel pools and bars are all really nice and it's an easy walk to the night market and Ancient Town. The staff are helpful and kind and the food and drinks at the hotel are high quality.

A wonderful stay

Very nice hotel. We were not happy with our room and wanted to checkout.The manager was amazing in her approach, she upgraded us to a beautiful suite. Very nice and exremely courteous. Property reminded us of European boutique hotels. The food was delicious and we decided to have all meals in the hotel.

We have stayed at the hotel previously in its Accor Mgallery guise and it has not diminished from that standard. Our room overlooked the canal through Hoi An, with a balcony, spotlessly clean, very roomy in size with great bed and bathiroom facilities. Breakfast area is enormous with a myriad of options. Staff are courteous and friendly, check in and out was seamless. The rooftop bar and pool offers views over Hoi An. Outside of happy hour it is not the cheapest place to have a drink. The hotel is very close to the Hoi An old town, associated eateries on the far bank and very walkable. There are pop up eateries along the canal at night offering cheap grills, seafood and noodles. A top hotel in a top location. Not the cheapest option in town but you get what you pay for. We were two couples in their 60's and 70's and stayed for three nights. Well recommended.

Life doesn’t get much better though

Great hotel, well presented, Vi was an excellent host. Some area to detail in cleaning had been missed for sometime…….there is an aesthetically pleasing wooden surround to the bathroom area, looks amazing, but it was covered in dust, which I noticed whilst using the bath. Staff were helpful for the most part. There is a fabulous selection of food, though though the heat was often tepid. The breakfast chefs are excellent on the cook to order.

Lovely and comfortable room! Extremely pleasant and welcoming staff. Very close to Old Town, river, and the “action” but on a quiet street. Definitely would stay here again and recommend highly!
