Our family of 6 had a great stay here. The staff were wonderful, the buffet breakfast was exceptional, our rooms were well appointed, we liked the location and that it's an easy walk to town, and the small pool was refreshing. The pool could use a good scrub to clean it and unfortunately the pool area becomes a wind tunnel every afternoon, but that's not a big hindrance.
Our only issue was in booking. As there are 6 of us, we obviously need beds for 6. Expedia and the hotel explain that the 2 connecting rooms sleep 6, but don't explain how. We arrived to find a king bed in one room and 2 single beds in the other room. You can't sleep 6 people in that configuration. Staff pushed the 2 single beds together (1 kid slept in the crack) and brought in an extra bed which solved the problem... BUT they charged us an extra $100 CAN for this for our 5 night stay. We complained to Expedia but they didn't help and whoever I communicated with at the hotel via email had zero empathy. No big deal. A bit of a bad taste, but overall an exceptional stay.
We would still highly recommend this hotel.
