I stayed in the private-pool villa area right in front of the beach, and it was perfect for a true “rest and recharge” vacation. You can hear the sound of the waves all day, and the atmosphere is calm and quiet—ideal for reading, relaxing, and taking short swims whenever you feel like it. What made this trip even more memorable was the warm and attentive service from the staff. In particular, Lily and Mia were incredibly helpful with guidance and support, and they kindly arranged a birthday surprise for my wife (a thoughtful room setup and celebration details). Their care truly added a special touch and made our stay feel even more meaningful. From my impression, the resort seems to have paused operations during the pandemic and has been gradually reopening and renovating more rooms in 2026. It feels like the property is steadily coming back to life, and the villa section I stayed in was genuinely excellent. The price also felt very reasonable for a beachfront private-pool villa experience. There were a few minor downsides—some dust in everyday areas, and you may occasionally see ants or small geckos. Personally, I consider that normal in a tropical environment and not a deal-breaker. Bottom line: If your goal is a peaceful, slow-paced vacation focused on rest rather than a packed itinerary, this place is an excellent choice. And thanks to the kind staff and thoughtful birthday surprise, I would also recommend it for special occasions.
